It’s not the fact that Aranda is getting credit. It’s the fact that O won’t get any credit.

Highest paid coordiantor in NCAA (well deserved), and paid higher than all but 30-40 HCs in NCAA football.

Im pretty sure he would also be the highest paid DC in the NFL.

It’s hard to prove you’re an elite coach with the CEO model.

He is delegating a lot of responsibility to coordinators.

That being said I dont Give a frick he does if we keep winning.

If you guaranteed a even Gene Chizik career arc who wouldn’t take that? A championship is a championship whether DA wins it for you as a DC or HC.

So what happens when Aranda gets his HC offer? Fire Orgeron and keep Aranda, or watch the sole reason this LSU football team is where it is, ride off into the sunset.

This scenario cannot be allowed to happen. That's why Alleva, O, and Aranda all need to work out a succession plan where Aranda is the next LSU head coach within 3 years.

You don't think Aranda deserves the credit he's receiving?

of course he deserves credit.

Yall act like we have never had great defenses prior to Aranda though. Hell Chavous had higher ranked defenses than Aranda has had.

For what would you like Orgeron to get credit that he hasn't gotten?

He's gotten a ton of credit, but it's not enough for some reason. Now people want Aranda's credit to go to Orgeron as well.

Yeah and Chavis was one of the best DCs in the country.

We’ve also have worse defenses when when Aranda arrived.

And you con see what happened in years where we didn’t have the best coaches. 2008, 2015.

Good thing Miles had the foresight to bring Aranda aboard. He's been our most valuable coach by far. No telling where we'd be without him.

Just pointing out that an actual search could land you a great coach. Vetting every possibility, making sure you aren't going to clash. Share the same vision. It's not that hard.

I dont Understand your point.

Because it seemed like you were downplaying the importance of a DC, by saying “even Chavis had great defenses here” but now you’re pumping Chavis and I feel Like we agree that a good DC is important.

Honestly idk who the next great defensive mind is.

Aranda was kinda running ahead of some others. And maybe it way just because we had a DC search 2 seasons in a row but he was the guy on the radar who was at a school we could go get him from.

Voodoo is a classic case of extreme bias.

Because I think the jury will be out on O until he proves he can win without Aranda?? Is Aranda a valuable part of this staff or not?? O and Alleva certainly seemed to think so by paying him more than half of the HCs in all of college football.

This is a site where to this day a large majority of idiots put an asterisk by the 07 title denoting that it was won with “Saban’s players” three years after he left BR, most of whom are Os biggest supporters by the way.

But I’m biased because I think we won’t have a full understanding of what Orgeron’s program will look like long term until after Miles’ DC (and players as well I suppose) are gone?? Both of which will happen in the next two years.

I want nothing but success for the program both this year and beyond, and I don’t have to try to justify the long term concerns I have about O to you or anyone else (none of which are dependent on his Ole Miss days btw, he’s done plenty in BR to raise concern although this has been a great month no question).

I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother is a hampster, and your father smells of old elderberries. Now go away, before I taunt you a second time!
