My man. He is averaging two high school recruits per season.
Year 1: Reed/Ward
Year 2: Williams/Chest
Year 3: Miller/Givens/TBD

You know why we won the SEC in year 2 under Wade? He signed 5 guys in year two. Naz Reid, Emmitt Williams, Days, Hyuatt, Smart.
All but Reid who played multiple years.
If he is going to build a program through the high school ranks, he will need more than 2 recruits/year

I get what you're saying because you can see glimpses here and there. This team is gelling and doing the right shite a lot of the time.
That said, it's ultimately up to MM to build a roster and he hasn't yet. If he gets the dudes I think he'd be a solid coach but so far he isn't and in college that's a huge part of the game.

Reed is an athletic freak who has gotten much better over the last year. He’s getting stronger and he will continue to get better.
Ward has doubled his avg. PPG over a one year period. He’s become a reliable option from 3 and a decent defender. He gives us length on the wing.
Mike Williams is a 2 who has been thrown to the fire to play the point as a freshman. He’s got length and has shot it well from distance. He will get better and grow within the system.
That’s all I could come up with considering McMahon has only been here a little under 2 years since the day he was hired.
By all means, though, let’s fire his frickin arse and continue the shitshow coaching turnover that is LSU basketball.
