Wonder if these were the same packages originally talked about for Narcisse?

Russel Shepard and Trindon Holiday would’ve been a sick wildcat!

It’d be funny if CEH throws the pass that Shep didn’t get to.

It was fun to see, but we need to fix the false starts. I think we had 2-3 in the wildcat.

It no doubt is. O said he’s keeping it in game plan for goal line and short yardage. I like it.

I think at least one of the false starts was simply an attempt to draw them off and LSU was not going to snap the ball.

How the hell do you jump when there’s no snap count?

For the wildcat to be successful longterm, they better throw out of it also.

It really would have been powerful with LN running that wildcat. A shame...

1. That would be a terrible false start then

2. It would prefer letting Burrow try a hard count

I don't think so. May need a "sweep" action to provide a read option.

But, I don't believe it is designed to "fool" anyone. If a QB hands to a RB - you have 9 blocking 11. In the Wild Cat - you have 10 blocking 11.

If the RB is patient and able to have vision to pick up the creases, it is a short yardage advantage.

They were using a clap as the snap count. O said the timing of CEH's clap was so different than Burrow's it caused the false starts.

Clap practice this week...

you're also tipping your hand that it's a run.

With a QB, the defense has to respect the possibility of a pass.

I'm not a fan of the Wildcat, without a legit threat to throw.

no doubt it is.. and narcisse would have been unstoppable doing it... I just wish hellaire could throw and show that aspect... I love the wildcat offense.. and its great that we arent scared to run it...

I even like the guts to call the fake punt... even though it didnt work, my first reaction was... "thats a gutsy call".. I dont like Oregeron at all, but I gave the man props there... i see more of that and more creativity in the offense, he will win me over...

I'll bet there will be a throw to Burrow when teams decide to ignore him.
