I would agree that Clemson has been the cream of the crop for the past 5 seasons. With Bama taking that second spot. Teams cycle up and down, and have their moments in the sun. Before the Playoff model, no one knew or cared about Clemson outside of South Carolina. They played second fiddle to Florida State, Miami, even Virginia Tech. I feel your pain there. We’ve had great teams that just weren’t as great as Bama for years, until this season.
Stop acting like Clemson is some timeless dynasty. That’s just silly. LSU has had a special season. So has Clemson. Can they continue their dominance into the future? Time will tell, but that will be addressed later. The fact remains that nothing either of these teams have done in the past, or next year, have any bearing on 1/13. These players (for both teams) are on a mission to prove they’re the best. Your job is to sit there on your couch and watch it unfold.

LSU was just able to do what Clemson has done frequently: either beat Bama or give them a good game.
