Daniels would’ve 100% been the #1 guy. Not a burner, but a big time possession and route running guy. Was consistent as hell at that. We’re pretty screwed with having a #1 at the moment.
Really don’t get this move for Daniels. He’s in the perfect offense for him to put up numbers next season. Either he didn’t like the vibe of Kelly and staff or it’s a money thing.

I get what LSUButt is saying about guys needing to step it up but it’s hard to mention Daniels and Sampson in the same breath. There is a gulf between the two right now.

False. He had several clutch catches to keep drives going and is a tremendous blocker. He battled injuries that slowed him down a bit but would’ve been good next year.

A guy like him almost has to enter the portal every year. He’s a good college player, probably an NFL camp body. He can’t waste any of his limited football earning potential only negotiating with one team on compensation.
Hope he comes back, but replaceable if he doesn’t.

Ed O left us with frickkng 39 scholarship players and two .500 seasons
We just left off on two 10 win seasons and had an 8 win season
We are no where near as bad as O left us and if you truly think that we are then you are just dumb as frick
Not to mention on top of 39 scholarship players, we only had 15 commits in that recruiting class
We had to get 19 players out the portal to even field a fricking team
