You don't need to do anything to get the Alleva "haters" riled up.

CEO is doing what he needs to do to demonstrate his ability to run the team. Good for him! I'm happy to see LSU winning.

That doesn't change how dreadful Joe Alleva is as the AD. He needs to go.

So are we believing what Chris Landry says now or not? He was pretty widely ridiculed during the coaching search - is he a reputable source now?

Chris Landry seems to have a personal issue with Coach O/LSU

So do I. What went on in Nov. of 2015 and continued till Dec. 2016 was a shite show the likes of which I have never seen at LSU or in the SEC.

While I don't blame Coach O for going after what he wanted, there is simply no way his HC resume warranted him even being in the running for the job.

The whole yr. gave LSU a black eye. imo

That was a money play by Patterson's agent similar to Les getting more money by flirting with Arky.

except Patterson leaving for LSU would be a legit threat, whereas Les should have been laughed at for pretending to have interest in leaving for Arkansas

I’m sure any coach with interest had their agent make it known to LSU. It would be interesting to know who was on that list. We will never know

I'm sorry, but I don't believe this at all.

Which part? That Patterson had legit interest or that ANYONE ELSE had legit interest?

Honestly...regardless or whether or not the first part is true, keep in mind it's the second part that has been pushed as legit by most who regard the Orgeron hire as a great one since December of 2016. That's why you keep getting questions like, "If not Orgeron...who else?!?!" as if the LSU job was some cancer that no legitimate head coach with a modicum of success would dare want to touch and were it not for our heroic DL coach who stepped in and saved us we'd be rightly fricked.

Regardless of whether or not Orgeron turns out to be an historically great hire, a good hire, a bad hire, or an historically abysmal hire...none of that will EVER change the fact that the "search" that brought him to be LSU's head coach was about the worst in the history of hiring anyone for anything. Ultimate success or failure will never change that...and THAT needs to be remembered because so long as the man (and BOS for that matter) that lead that "search" are still in place we are subject to that kind of hire elsewhere at LSU.

i do too. The agenda is to get qualified, competent leadership at LSU.

Is this an agenda you're against?

Coach O and LSU are 6-2, control their destiny in SEC west, about to play a #1 bama and he is talking about the coaching search from last year trying to degrade O. Is this really a topic that we are discussing now?

I haven't listened to the podcast yet but, is O the primary target that he is degrading or is it Alleva?

Gary Patterson would win national championships at LSU. It's unreal what he's done at a small school like TCU. He was my top choice, but I figured he was untouchable.

Interesting if true.

Correct, did you listen to the one from a few weeks ago, where he was saying he told LSU to hire Saban over Dinardo?.. This guy is a joke, he should go back to plagiarizing LINK
