Why TF would this shite happen now before one of the biggest games of the season??

Any shot that cracks the O narrative sends threads South. It's all about keeping the Masses in line.

Hate or love Coach O, but JA, if true, effectively gutted his head coach. Take Coach O out of the equation: what other AD in the country, let alone the SEC, tells the head coach how to run his team this specifically? This is not good any way you look at it.

You really think a third of the way into the season Alleva told the coordinators to run what they want and don't worry about what the head coach wants?

I'm no fan of Alleva or O but there is no way the conversation went like that. All that would ensure is O gets rid of the coordinators as soon as possible.

I would think Joe would tell O in private to let the coaches run their units, and let O tell his coordinators in the meeting. I don't believe Joe cut O's nuts off like that

Here is a link to gridiron now article that sights from his pod-cast. I really suggest listening to the whole pod-cast. He covered every LSU coaching search from Mike Archer to Coach O. He pretty much put all the details out in the open.

So the realities of the binder are coming true. O's the head baw in title only.

I've said it before and this makes me believe it more. Ed Orgeron was a "frick it, until Saban retires" hire. Saban has a fricking stranglehold on the SEC and these ADs know it.

I know having two coordinators doing their own thing is exactly what the eauxmos were hoping for but I just don't think it's a good idea.

This is why you hire a head coach with a philosophy, either offense or defense, and have them use the other side of the ball to complement their side. Not two coordinators working independently of each other.

This article probably deserves its own thread .

Confirms much of what some of us suspect is the case.

Anybody who says Landry doesn't know shite just outed themselves for being uninformed.

Landry's info is as good as it gets.

No fluff.

I have forwarded it to quite a few folks.

That was my hope as well Allthough I am of the openion it is Alleva that must go before any progress can be made. As critical I was about Ogeron being hired, I almost feel firing him now will result in more harm than good. Honestly we need a new AD before a new coach, sombody with some football knowledge.
