He hasn't had the opportunity to play with the 1st team OL yet. Big difference!!!

So far he hasn’t been trusted to play a single meaningful snap. Emery either. I think you see Price all game unless we get a good lead.

Did you see the practice video of these guys catching balls in the flats? It was terrible. Dropped passes. Terrible foot work, not leading the quarterback...dang man

When was the video, Spring/Summer or recent? Perhaps they've improved?

TDP will get majority of the carries Chris Curry looks too slow

He looked plenty fast against Georgia, granted that was against a gassed defense.

Or we might see some true 5 wide sets with a wr taking Clyde's routes

Can he catch a pass?

I think we'll see a running back by committee and ride whoever's hot. TDP will get first crack, then probably Emery for passing game and Curry for short yardage.

IMHO, If TDP needs a break, put Jefferson at RB, and bring in McMath to replace him out wide. Can you imagine the confusion it would cause. I remember several times during the season Brady putting Chase next to Joe to confuse the defensive asignments.

Chris Curry will surprise in the Peach by Lou the Jew from LSU
I think Sullivan and moss will pickup the receptions. Blocking will be important as Oklahoma blitzes a lot. Curry and tdp can do this. As the season progressed, we needed an extra blocker less and less.
Curry could have a big game because he goes straight ahead and is hitting the hole faster than last year. OU’s d linemen get upfield fast and leaves room for runners to pop past them.
At the start of the season many complained that we didn’t have a marquee back. Now they say CEH is unreplaceable.
Give it a rest.
Our coaches actually know some football. You’d think 13-0 would make an impact on people.

Best post in this thread.

I doubt this happens, but I’d love to see Tory Carter get a few snaps at H-back, mostly for blocking. Then throw a screen to him once the defense is primed for it.

I'm seeing good things with this guy over the last 2 games - even though it was late in the game. He's got that "turn of foot" that you just can't teach. He'll put a lick on you too.

NOPE
He's not PATIENT ENOUGH.....
If he would just take a breath and let the game come to him, i suspect that he could be dominate....

He's not patient....

I just don't know what you guys are seeing in Curry.

IMO TDP starts and depending on who scores better in practice Emery or Curry, they will back up TDP. Even if Emery doesn't score better than Curry in practice this week I expect him to get playing time and when he does I expect him to be very productive. Emery is clearly the most talented running back on the roster.

me to, love how physical and violent he plays and watching him hit people, but isn't he out the first half of that game for a targeting call in the SEC champ game?

Been very impressed with him running in between the tackles! Curious to see how all of the freshies do catching out the backfield and in pass protection, which is really where CEH has been an X factor for us.

You're definitely not the first to offer this opinion

And even if you were who cares?

Look forward to the kid getting a chance to show what he can do outside mop-up time.
