Vegas gives an unbiased opinion, they're in it to win it. Many of you are selling Georgia short when they're favored to win the game.

No, they are in it to get even money on both teams

It may my inner homer speaking, but I REALLY like us vs UGA.
Our offenses are nearly identical. But we've got better SP teams and a much better defense.

I just don't see this one being much of a struggle for us.

Big plays and turnovers will decide. Look for a slighlty higher score than TAMU last year.
LSU 31 - GA 24

FYI - I predicted last weeks score
LSU 38 - AU - 21

I would have kicked the field goal...

You do realize these two contradict each other, right?

No, I do not realize that. Georgia can have a late TD that inflates their score, and we can win going away.

You might be misunderstanding what "win going away" means. It's a phrase from horse racing that refers to when a horse not only wins the race, but is pulling away and extending his lead at the end. So, if a team is going to "win going away", it means the other team is NOT going to narrow the gap at the end with a late TD.

Frome what I've seen, UGA has more issues on defense than LSU.

I like LSU by 10. Call it 31-21.

I thought it meant it wasn't close at the end of the game/race. Oh well. Maybe I should've used a different choice of words. . .

I don't know about "running up the score early" but our defense will play well over 4 quarters. Georgia may score first but LSU will have an answer offensively and as the game wears on we will/should score on more possessions than Georgia. Key will be us keeping them out of the end zone and vice versa. Special teams could be a major factor in the "shootout"/scoring - not just offense and defense. 41-35 LSU. I will take that. Sorry. It WILL be a shootout on the scoreboard.

I don't think it'll be a shootout. LSU will have success early and often against Georgia's lack of defense. I think our D will play really well for most or all of the game. The only risk if Georgia can tire out our D late in the game, which does seem to be an issue for us, but I think special teams blunders and/or turnovers will keep them from making it really close.

What you're saying is that Vegas suspects if the game was a pickem then more money would go on Georgia. A favorite is a favorite. I understand that as a fan it's hard to temper expectations on a game like this but you're all selling Georgia short. This is going to be a street fight. Both sides have talent across the board.
