I've seen some pretty bad stuff at LSU too. It's a good way to get attention. And they did.

Doesn't bother me in the least , but I have a pretty twisted sense of humor and thick skin. Not much I cant find humor in and I appreciate a clever play on words or a sharp, witty one liner. Even in the most tragic of circumstances I can see a laugh or two.
I wouldn't hang that sign though.
I would feel as though it's mean spirited and I would know that for some , it would be painful and not just some edgy trash talk.

It's not original or funny really. That's what offends me. If you aren't funny or clever you are assaulting those around you by trying and failing. Death penalty.

It was offensive a year or two after. Hell, I might have fought them on their lawn for it.
Now, its 10 years ago, people have moved on with their lives, I am a little more mature, and see them as being just college kids.
Truthfully, the joke is a little old. They suck for not coming up with anything better.

Unless you were actually affected by Katrina, you're not likely to be "offended."
I think the word "offend" is used more loosely than it should nowadays.
That said, the sigh is classless and in poor taste. And it's not funny.
