Changes coming to LSU infield

Fontenot is going to be our new shortstop.
Doughty to the bullpen. And Bianco will play 2nd.

Whatever it is it won’t be what we all think it is. Going to move Thompson to short and put Arnold at 3rd or Dugas to third and Beloso in left then DH Arnold or something like that.
I am convinced for whatever reason CPM does not want Arnold as his shortstop and he is going to exhaust every option to see if something else will work there.

BTW, it's an easy decision at SS at this point.
Pick a dude, any dude, and let him start Tuesday night. If he does well, great.

All I know is our team looks like they would rather be anywhere than playing baseball. Other than the facial hair it's the no fun team and it's been that way for the last couple of seasons since the 2017 runner up season.
Meanwhile I watch teams like Ole Miss or these non conf teams that come in that play with emotion and actually look like they might actually like their coach. And I know, Ole Miss still hasn't won anything of substance.

Based on the small sample size. Hampton needs to move to CF. His at bats, though in garbage innings, have been solid lately and he has the best speed on the team. Drost is solid at the plate but looks like he's running through sand in the outfield.
And please Mainieri, just please... No more Bianco. It's like CPM is trying to prove that Hal Hughes wasn't that bad last year.

As long as Bianco and Hellmers are not on the field, I couldn't care any less what he does. It's going to be a good idea and stupid all at the same time.
