In all honesty, could be that he wants to see if Doughty can play third or SS, so Dugas can move to 2b, opening up LF for Drost and CF for Hampton.

You must have a different view than I do when I'm sitting in the Box during games.

Tre Morgan is constantly smiling and messing around with the other guys in the dugout. He looks like he's having the time of his life.

And Blake Money in the bullpen is flexing and striking poses. He keeps the fans near the bullpen laughing. During Saturday's game he had what looked like a bean bag that he was throwing and kicking back and forth with several of the other pitchers between innings.

Based on the small sample size. Hampton needs to move to CF. His at bats, though in garbage innings, have been solid lately and he has the best speed on the team.

He technically leads the team in batting average right now (.500) though he's only had 4 at bats

Paul Mainieri said LSU will "make a few changes with our infield this week so y'all stay off my arse for a few more weekends for shitting the bed against 2-6 Oral Roberts and sucking in general."

LSU just tweeted this picture

So maybe Paul is going to start Cranford at short just so Arnold can't play

Alexander’s tweet implies Doughty to 2B is the only thing PM would say is changing while he looks at other options elsewhere.

So I've seen almost every game so far... how did Arnold play himself out of SS?

If Arnold moves to SS, who plays 2B? Safford?

I could see moving Thompson to SS and Cranford to 3B to get Bianco out of the lineup. Or the opposite of that.

The assumption is that Doughty is back at 2B.

Who knows.

I’m not necessarily ready to take out Thompson yet and I don’t understand why Arnold isn’t already the everyday SS. So imagining Doughty is back and Cranford is going to play, either Thompson or Arnold are sitting.

CPM just doesn’t see him as a shortstop is the only thing I can think of. He never really got a lot of balls hit to him when he did play there to say if he is right or wrong.

They just lost 2 out of 3 to Oral Roberts. I would be upset if he wasn’t tinkering.

He put out the same exact lineup for 3 games.

I know and it obviously can’t beat ORU so some tinkering is obviously needed. If he ran that lineup out again this week I would be right there on your side calling for CPM’s job.

It blows my mind that he has to work some guys out to make sure he's going to make the move. So, this another Hellmers to 3B kind of move?
