That really has nothing to do with this situation
If you are hiring a coach, you look at the coaching history, their W/L and W/L relative to when they took over. BK's is pretty good at every stop.
Les at Kansas was no worse than his predecessors in year 1, in fact he matched their best records, and most Jayhawk fans were initially pleased with Les. Then all the off-the-field stuff popped up. All that stuff outside of football in his second year impacted the situation.

There was never any cause. Some idiot on LSU's negotiating team ran his mouth and tried to bluff, so BK's lawyers called him out on it.
