What about Mike Munchak? He's knows a little about O-line play and is looking for work.

Mawae - still better than Stud
There is a world of difference between being just "better than Stud" and being a really good OL coach. I'd want to find a really good OL coach. A familiar name does not necessarily make a good coach. I say go with a proven winner.

The Washington guy is interesting; is he actually interested in coming here? I mean he turned down USC which is basically OLU to coin a phrase.

Orgeron would be a fantastic hire.....if he coached on the offensive side of the ball

What about Jeff Stoutland? That would be a good hire.

Why is Searels even being mentioned in this thread? Does anyone seriously think either he or Miles want to coach beside each other? Did some of you forget why he left in the first place to take a lateral job?

I find it hard to believe they're seriously looking at him. He's a good coach I just don't think he wants to come back here with Miles as coach. Meh.
I forgot he left to take a lateral job (at UGA)? So, is he rumored to be a finalist? I recall him doing some excellent work with our OL under Saban. I'd take him in a heartbeat. (unless, of course, Willie Roaf or Anthony Munoz is available)
