re: Outside of Herman, who are other real and potential HC Candidates?

Dave Aranda would also be an option. There are a thousand choices I would have more hope in and I'm a person that's always supported les miles and still like him but the time is now. Heck I think we should of done him like USC did lane kiffin

so you wouldn't be more hopeful with Gilbert? The idea that it's a move down just because we don't get Herman, kiffin, or jimbo is what I'm saying. All I want is hope with Les I have absolutely zero. Would our coaching list consist of 500 people? Not at all but I would take a Scott Frost no doubt or many other people was my point

Nothing scary at all about it at all give me the OC at Texas in Gilbert just give me a change in philosophy. I'm sure with a little research I could find 500 people that I would be willing to turn it over to and have more hope than I would with les miles.

Comes with any job where you make close to 5 million a year if you are sucking at it you get fired. I like les as a man but I also don't want him coaching my high school team so without a doubt I don't want him coach my state university

He took over lsu when it was better shape than it has ever been by far and it's not even close. Saying that I've always liked miles but his unwillingness to make changes has killed us the last 4 years. Heck everybody on the most part agrees nick saban is the best coach in college football today and one of the best ever, and every year you here of him bringing other coaches in to understand what they are trying to do offensively and defensively. Always making changes and open to new ideas that may make his team better. When is the last time we heard of les doing anything like this and then it looking like he tries to use some of those ideas in his own philosophy. When you stop trying to get better others will pass ya up

I wanted Herman last year and have never wanted jimbo just not a fan at all. In a weaker conference than the sec traditionally what has he ever done without Jamis. But I would take jimbo over miles along with about 500 other coaches and many of those have never had any head coaching experience.

He has lose 4 of his last 5 regular season games while being favored in 4 of them. I know I should count the earth shattering win against Texas tech and after the Wisconsin game I'm hanging on to it also. 6 years in a row of throwing balls 20 yards down the field with in 5 yards of the sideline. Les lost his chest during the pick 6 season of lee's years ago and has been afraid do try anything different since then.

Of course I can probably name 500 coaches I take over miles right now

I'm watching the UT vs ND game right now and would hire the UT offensive coordinator today as the head coach
re: Fire Les and make Aranda interim head coach
Posted by tigertalkster on 9/4/16 at 3:14 pm to ipodking
I don't know that Aranda is the man for the job but I'm positive les isn't. At this point I take any coach in the nation over les miles and I've always liked les he's a great recruiter, players love him, and he's a great role model for the kids, but at some point you have to be willing to make changes and evolve your game
re: Who is on your HC short list?
Posted by tigertalkster on 9/4/16 at 3:08 pm to TDcline
I'm probably one of the few but I'm completely against jimbo any of the other 4 and basically any other coach in the nation will be better than les
re: Why are hats optional in softball but not baseball

For a few reasons number 1 guys haven't always been such pussy bitches and number 2 cause that's the rules follow them or don't play I'm yet to ever hear of an injury taking place because somebody was wearing a hat.
re: What's with the melt over baseball
Posted by tigertalkster on 4/28/16 at 10:08 am to UnAnon
People that point out the success of skip need to realize at the time there were about 5 teams in college baseball that showed a profit and really cares about baseball. All credit goes to skip for turning lsu into one of those programs but also people have to realize that the competition and how competitively equal teams are today. Then when you throw the bats in that evens the playing field even more.
re: Anacoco's Will Reese Commits to LSU Baseball
Posted by tigertalkster on 4/13/16 at 11:27 am to bugafor6
1a are basically small school enrollment schools that also play football. As of right now if Anacoco moves up in class it will move to 2a because 2a schools don't have to play football. The cut off for 1a and B are exactly the same this is why you see mainly private schools in 1a

They were a very good class B school but we beat them in 2007 state championship game and think they have been 2a since 08 but not positive of that

He's a 6'4" pitcher that can hit 91 on the gun and has never focused on baseball really. Can also hit but he's a pitcher at this level from day 1 with a lot of upside. If not mistaken lsu has had some pretty good players that came from a few small school kids. jc holt and scivicque come to mind real quick.

It's LSU so yes it's always the coaches fault.
