Can we get a tally of the fans that don't think Urban Meyer would be a grand slam hire?

Of course he would be; however, with the Title IX issues surrounding the program, there's no way we are hiring him.

He would have been until he stuck his hand up that girl’s arse. Can’t fire O for cause because of Title IX stuff then hire CUM.

He'd be a strike out.

Enabled Aaron Hernandez, enabled a wife beating assistant with no repercussions for years, playing hide the wiener on public video, has stress breakdowns, yeah he's a grand slam.

As a coach, yes he'd be a great hire. I just can't see the LSU admin willing to weather the PR storm that would follow hiring Urban while we are dealing with Title IX issues.

Count me in that group.

The old, pre-2020 Urban would have been great here.

The current version of Urban is in the process of spectacularly crashing and burning, and will take a couple years before he can go anywhere else. He can either salvage his reputation by winning in Jacksonville (unlikely), or or he's toast. He will be untouchable for most programs to consider.

I don't want him. I think he doesn't care as much as he once did. I also don't think he would be here for very long. I also think he is a shite person.

He’s an emotionally fragile dirt bag of a man. Not a good combo for the LSU job, especially in our current climate

He would be a tremendous hire.

It won’t happen though because of current circumstances.

Don’t confuse “it won’t happen” to mean “don’t want Urban Meyer”

If the Title9 and PR issues didn’t exist, he absolutely would be LSU’s top target and we’d be silly not to explore it. But they do exist.

NOOOO!
Too much baggage...especially now.
Sure he is a great FB coach, but after OSU, I wouldn't have wanted him. Crap follows him....probably because he is a crappy person.

Man, people are wigging out about Ed have off the field excursions, well this clown Meyer is getting hammered publicly for his drunken @ss grabbing. Why would we want that clown show coming here.

Grand slam hire...I don't think so. He left OSU with a lot of carnage behind him and it's not like he's lighting it up in the NFL.

We don't need that type BS associated with our HC. We are looking to get rid of CEO because of that and he's not a great coach.

Need a clean hire...great football coach and a good person.

If hired, he would quit in 3 years or less for some unforeseen circumstance. He’s not stable.

He’s been a failure as a coach and completely lost the locker room, and was just publicly reprimanded for feeling up a 20 something girl in a bar while his wife was at home babysitting the grandkids. Just what we need for head coach.
