I understand they're not a great team but we didn't play Southern last night.

So, who on that squad is considered to be possible NFL talent?

I know their WR duo was supposed to be the real deal but we eliminated that by giving zero time to throw the ball.

Anyone else? What was their Dline supposed to look like? I'm very curious as our Oline looked All World last night.

The white LB is considered an NFL prospect.

Their Oline and QBs might not start at some high schools though.

Was told they have one of the top WR Rooms in the country. Saban said #47 may be the best inside LB in the country… maybe the lights got too bright for them

The WRs are good. Sammy Brown is good at LB. Best player is DE Heldt, he smoked Seaton on one play, he looks like a first rounder.

They will likely be competitive in the ACC, but they looked unprepared and poorly coached.

Their CB who got that early interception is supposedly one of the better DBs in the country. Forget his name.

Even Herbstreit was talking about how good he was.

Clemson’s average composite recruiting ranking for the last five years (2022–2026) is 15.6, according to Athlon Sports rankings released in February 2026.  This average places the Tigers at No. 14 nationally in roster talent and second in the ACC, trailing only Miami (9.8 average).

So they have talent on that roster. They also brought in 10 transfers, though I'm unsure of their rankings.

Clemson had 9 players drafted in the first 4 rounds last year and how was Clemson’s season? That team was poorly coached last season and look worse this year.

I thought this was going to be about who we wanted to get to transfer in next year. Was thinking last night after one of the ridiculously loud moments that if I played for Clemson I’d want to transfer here.

Will Heldt #13 is a really good end. He had 15 tfl last year. Brown #47 is a great LB. Tackling machine. We weren’t getting separation much from the corners so maybe some talent there as well. TJ Moore had 800 receiving yards last year so pretty good returner at WR. They’ve got some individual guys that are really good, but it gets bad past them I think. OL is terrible.

Both top WRs were coveted recruits.

Sammy Brown is considered the best LB in this coming draft.

Heldt was a good DE from the portal

There were some decent 4 star CBs

Sammy brown
Wesco Jr
Will heldt
Ashton brown

Should all get drafted in the first 3 rounds.

Tj Moore another guy that should be a 4th/5th rounder.

There o line only has one decent nfl type guy. That running game was shite.

There team last yr was much better imo.

I don’t imagine anyone on clemsons defense graded high. He’s a good player.

Here's an AI answer, so take it with a grain of salt. It's not even my Perplexity AI answer, just the one on my Brave browser (named Leo), so it could be completely bullshite.

quote:

For the 2026 cycle, Clemson's transfer portal class ranked 31st nationally on On3, with a net loss of 17 players (adding 12 and losing 29).

However, other rankings placed the class lower. According to a January 2026 report from the Greenville News, Clemson's 2026 transfer portal class ranked No. 65 in the 247Sports rankings, which the article noted was the program's highest ranking ever at that time.

The discrepancy likely stems from different evaluation methodologies (e.g., overall class talent vs. net roster impact) and the timing of the rankings, as the portal period extends through the spring.

Summary of 2026 Portal Activity:

On3 Ranking: 31st

247Sports Ranking: 65th (record high for Clemson at the time)

Net Roster Change: -17 (12 additions, 29 departures)

Key Additions: Included 12 new transfers, featuring several high-rated recruits like London Merritt (EDGE) and Christopher Johnson (RB).

The opposing fanbase cope is hilarious this morning. They’ve designated Clemson a bad FCS team when a lot of the fanbases talking shite have an inferior roster to Clemson.

I honestly believe LSU would have beaten every team in the country last night. No one was getting out of TS with a win in those circumstances. Several would have made it a war.
