All these theories…
The team has issued statement after statement about his injury.
I understand it’s a bone bruise.
If something more serious, one assumes we can/ would be be more transparent. No opponent is going to scheme/ game plan around somebody who has 22 career catches.
At this point, the team knows if there has been a misdiagnosis. If so, why not disclose?
Something does not smell right here…

Yeah. I agree with all of this. Something is very fishy with this whole scenario.

This thread kind of irks me, so I probably should not chip in - but I will:

- As a fan I can understand wanting to know the status of individual players - but when it comes down to it we really have no right to know. As long as the player in question and the coaches are on top of it, what we want is of no consequence.

- If you did know, what would it change in terms of the outcome of the game? As long as the coaches and team are handling it - that's fine.

- If it's something more serious - or possibly not even a physical injury - I trust the coaches to do the right thing to protect the player, his future, and his confidentiality.

- Have you ever thought that by continuing the "day-to-day" narrative, it makes the opposing coaches have to work harder to prepare just in case he might play?

- For those saying 'back in the day' when they were injured... - that is not germane and basically- Who gives a shite.

My rant is over.

I mean retiring from football may need to be brought to the table…With his speed and ability he can’t stay healthy for more than a week. Don’t mean to rag on the Kid but he lives in our recovery room.
why does it bother you so much if he’s not playing big deal just accept he’s not gonna play and move on. but day-to-day bullshite. It’s not maybe he might play who cares one way or another at this point

That’s my point - I don’t care what it is and what the fans know. As long as the coaches and the young man know - and that it’s being handled appropriately - that’s all that matters.

May or may not be true

But your tone is off, he's a college athlete doing the best he can for his future. He owes you nothing.

Here is what it is

Had stress fracture (break in bone in leg). Tried coming back too soon (didn't say that was his fault) and had to start process all over. That is the real deal.

He might as well not try it next week because if he doesn’t play he’ll preserve his red shirt and he can play every snap the rest of the season.

Might be a mental thing. Coming back from an injury then getting hurt again can be tough. Sounds soft but with the way kids are these days you never know.

Why wouldn't they just say he is suspended?

Yall are so dumb. This is a case of the player not wanting to play yet cause he is still injured.

If this is true the coaches should just say this. Come out and remove all doubt.

Well since brooks family is suing lsu you are not gonna get very much detail on injuries anymore unless it’s out doubtful or probable
In Hilton and Adams cases they weren’t hurt during an actual game so we won’t know the details to avoid a ferpa lawsuit

It’s a stress fracture issue in his foot.
