Georgia outlucked LSU by 17 points. Only beat them by 3.

Year two under a new coaching staff means as much as the difference from game one to game two. Players get more comfortable in the new schemes, and start really learning the new system. However, UGA has talent in their 2, and 3 deep. They will be tough.

Man, the guy just won back to back natties and has a good chance to do it again. Chill on that. Bk better start stacking top 3 classes every year if he expects to even get close to that, but the truth is we’ll make a serious push for a title every 3-5 years. The same way it’s been since 2000.

Louisiana alone doesn’t have the talent to compete for a title every year, and LSU isn’t willing to pay as much as UGA and others to get the best of the best talent from around the nation.

I know LSU played them hard but the score was 50-30. This upcoming season we return a lot. They do not. Is it possible for us to actually compete and (knock on wood) beat them?

I have been aligned with BK since he arrived but twice in the last few weeks I disagreed with his statements on we can not win a Natty this year and we cannot compete with UGA. If he is trying to motivate his team then I am not aligned with that.

I would have chosen to say something like there are things we need to do or improve to get to that end on both of those comments.

Ask the baseball fans on here if JJ had said "No, we are not there yet" trying to elevate and motivate his players...

Actual QUOTE from Brian Kelly:
quote:

Based on how we have recruited and how we'll continue to recruit, we will have a football roster that will be able to compete against Georgia. Then it's just a matter of getting it done on the field."

All time we are something like 18-14-1 so yeah we match up pretty well. Last year was such a rebuilding year I wouldn't put much faith in it.

We have to take a major step forward to even make it to Atlanta this year.

The actual quote is

"...Is that right now? No its not."

If you are going to quote somebody get it right. The video is on the home page.

When you mess with the new BK , you get a lot of extra cheese.

As long as Kirby Shart is their head coach, anyone has the potential to beat them consistently.

We can do more than compete with them…we can dominate them. Start Nuss!

Hell ya LSU can compete with them. In SEC Championship, everyone knew Georgia was about to whoop that arse (50-30 is don't get me wrong), LSU fricked up on a blocked FG (10 point swing), Boutte misses a TD (4 pt swing) and Jaylen was limping from the get-go>>>>

Also Ohio State had the game in hand in the semifinal game and Georgia pulled it out. I'm not saying Georgia wasn't the best team but the gap between these teams are hellva lot closer than last year.

In the SEC Championship Game with Joe running the offense, I was up in ATL, I told some friends and family,”Y’all fixing to get a new Offense Coordinator!” They did with Monken. Great move. His replacement, that’s one Bobo, you can’t cover up.

Yes. If LSU makes that initial field goal...meaning if it isn't blocked, then returned by UGA for a TD when everyone fell asleep...that changes the score to 42-33 (wouldn't have gone for 2 to make it 50). Changed the entire game early.
