Look I hope we make a good run but if you gave me an option of we make a run and Paul &Alan are back then I will take not making the playoffs and getting beat in the regional. This once truly great program I has regressed to the point of blowing it up and starting over.

Was looking today and 12 teams get in so with only 2 being left out we will definitely get in. Look at some of the others schedules. They have a tough road ahead. For instance take 4th place western division rival Bama. We’re 4 games behind them but they are at Vandy then us then have to play Mississippi State. They could go 0-9 playing the 2nd and 4th ranked teams then us in the box. Just saying

they don't need 8 of 9. they need to win the last three series and then go deep in the SEC tourney. that will get them into a regional. They are once again peaking at the end of the season., but this year their peak isn't high enough to get them into a super, unless they get very favorable match-ups in the regional. I just don't think they have the consistent pitching to get it done. They should be a force over the next couple of years though.

I'd rather we not make the tournament, and get a new coaching staff. Hopefully the right coach can build an elite pitching staff and win more Nattys! Who the Frick wants to be a 3 seed in somebody elses regional?

16-14 gets this team into a regional..we gotta win at least 8 of 9 and its a lock...

..if we get in and don't get into the top 8 regions, I believe we could steal a regional from someone and advance to supers...just saying after going thru this gauntlet of a season...

You are a dumb dumb. This team cant hit its way out of a wet paper bag and the bullpen is god awful

Bottom line. Every game LSU wins,,,, the more likely PM stays. The more LSU loses,,,, the more PM leaves. It can't get any simpler than that, Which do you want?

We are 27-17 right now. Don’t see how you can say we get a sweep anywhere but we should be favored to win each of the remaining series 2-1. If we beat La Tech, Grambling and NW St we finish 36-20 (13-17) with an RPI in the 20’s. That gets us into a regional somewhere easily, especially if we get a win in Hoover.

Last year the NCAAt was held in 2019, Auburn finished 32-23 (14-16) and made it all the way to the CWS. They went 1-2 in the SECt and they still got a 2 seed in the GT regional.

I agree with you. I think we very much can go 6-3 or even 7-2. For some strange reason, we normally always pick up a few wins in Hoover no matter how good or bad the team is. So I think it's doable. I also think if La Tech manages to get a regional, though I'm not certain they would, there is a good chance the NCAA sends us there with Covid and stuff to limit a lot of travel. Depending on the rest of the regional, I think if we can get a win from someone in game 1, Landon and Labas can get us to a Super Regional if our bats can do something/anything. With those two pitchers, we could also hold our own in a Super Regional. The issue then would be can our bats get us to the CWS. I'm not sure if they can get us to a regional right now, so I wouldn't put money on it. They can and the season isn't over... But we will need some hitting streaks to happen and hopefully string hits in the same inning instead of one here or there.

And screw you guys for wanting the team to lose. How can you be a fan and wish the team to lose? If it's wishful thinking, then wish the team to win and make a decent run, and then wish for Paul to retire. Don't call yourself a fan and then say you want to team to lose. That's horseshite.
