I had heard he came in at 98-99.

Again, not that it really matters.

For those who think I was being unfair or cruel to Cam Johnson with my above comment, Johnson pitched 9 innings this past season and he walked 16 batters...

to be fair 6 came in 1 inning vs VMI.
So he only walked 10 in the other 8 innings pitched? So as long as no one gets a hit, he’s looking at a 1.25 WHIP.

Where do the three batters he hit fit in?

How is that being fair? That makes it sound even worse!

I know you’re being sarcastic, I was just reiterating. Too many people stargazing with this kid. He just didn’t look like the pitcher he was billed to be.

You gonna trust him till he runs the program in the ground? You need to wake up dude. Johnson was supposed to be a stud. LSU ought to be playing this weekend.

I believe at least one of these statements was facetious. I do not think Ga Tiger was being facetious, dumbasses rarely have that capability.

After a title with primarily PM’s recruits?

Regardless of the inaccuracy of this post….So he developed and won with guys Paul couldn’t? Paul went 13-17 in the SEC and was a 3 seed in the regionals with the guys Jay inherited. And then Jay signed several #1/2 classes since Paul left. Sounds like a pretty good coach

This attitude is destroying baseball from tee ball all the way through college. You have kids playing travel ball?

They were mainly Freshmen (Crews/Morgan).
They won a road regional and 2 games from Omaha.

PM won a road regional with Freshman. Jay lost the regional in Hattiesburg the following year.
If not for Skenes, no natty.

Take the ace away from most teams and they don’t win it either. What a stupid post.

It’s not as if we were a one trick pony, we beat Florida 2/3 without using Skenes.

Sure Skenes was a huge factor, but wd had a lot of other top shelf college players.

A whole team of freshmen? Or a few?

Can we bring up Paul losing a home regional to Houston? Or not making the tournament at all in 2011? Or losing a road regional in 2010?
