out of 70 offensive snaps. Moscono discussed this yesterday. Said coaches likely think he is a liability in pass protection, but why not have your most explosive player on the field when you need explosive plays?

Our OC and HC have proven time and time again this year they are basically functional retards. What do you expect?

well it sounds like he's a liability in pass protection, and being down early forces you to throw more.

Josh Williams pass blocking grade was fricking 32 this weekend. Durham couldn’t be worse.

Isn't William's pass protection rating awful this year? Going to need a PFF sub to confirm/deny though.

One big win.

Let’s see how you feel after he loses to UF and Vandy. He can’t beat a mobile QB

Something still feels weird about it, seems like his injury must be bothering him more than they are saying. Considering in games earlier in the year like South Carolina they were feeding him regardless of pass blocking.

But not sure what would be the point of Kelly hiding it at this point.

Dude should be our bell cow, but Williams is still getting every meaningful carry in the red zone.

Well Josh Williams 2.3 yards a carry is very stable.
Maybe if we ran the ball more and stopped passing the ball 50 times game we would get better at run blocking, give the defense a rest and not give Nuss and extra 15 attemps to be intercepted

Because…

he is a liability in pass protection

This makes him not…

your most explosive player on the field

Unless by “explosive” you are referring to the explosive plays he would give up to the other defense.

Or I dunno, maybe the OC could call some screens to him, some passes in the flat, some RB releases over the middle. Maybe I am dumb, but if the OC would call ANYTHING to slow down the pass rush maybe they wouldn't need a RB to constantly be blocking. But what do I know.
