I'm going to advise you to not take this thread down the path of expounding on Mormonism, even light heartedly. This site can turn any form of religious talk into a shitshow with the quickness.

I was in Austin a few years ago when you waxed Texas and the biggest surprise for me was how good looking your ladies were . Much respect for your program - you guys are always fundamentally sound and loaded with character guys. Your defense concerns me greatly.

Came here to downvote. But, to my great displeasure I liked the post and upvoted you.

Welcome ... and a word of caution. Many here possess dark, tortured souls, while many others have no soul at all. Now, enjoy your time here, and whatever you do, don't go to the OT Lounge.

Well said, sir. Most opening game fans off the top of my head (Oregon, NC, Washington x2, TCU, Wisconsin 2013) come in here, stir up a bunch of shite, and then walk away with their tail between their legs.

You seem knowledgeable and reasonable, which is what most, not all, LSU fans are like as well. I fully expect LSU to win, but I think the game will be close. Or at least close enough for the final score not to reflect how the game was really played.

The word I would use to describe the state of LSU football right now is hopeful. We're not sure what we're in for, but it will be different and that's all that matters. Doesn't automatically mean we win more games. The defense will be fine, but the offensive change both in production and philosophy should be fun to watch. Enjoy Houston if you go and eat as much Cajun food as you can. There is nothing like the poeople of Louisiana and LSU from a culturally standpoint.

Geaux Tigers!

We're not used to opponents fans being nice and cordial. You're low key freaking everyone out.

But with Derrius Guice running the ball that doesnt seem likely.

Hey man, you never know. He could very likely run the complete wrong direction on the goal line and lose the most important game of the season all by himself

I agree, well written post. Upvote from me. Although I think LSU will win, I really don't expect a high scoring game, so it will be close. We are all hopeful that the game is played and that our Tigers beat your Cougars, but we're just as much in the dark concerning our offense, and how much improvement there will be, as everyone else. I think both defenses are formidable, so with that, I am expecting a low scoring game...but you never know. That's why they play the games.

PS...Can you comment on the dirty play we've heard about from BYU? I saw some pretty upsetting videos that have me concerned.
