Well, I guess it's time to eat crow. Perhaps the video the police got was a hell of a lot more clear than on youtube and it was clear that was JJ, or they had more video that we knew about.
I was certain that wasn't JJ in the video, but may be he was hunched over enough so that it didn't look like he's 6'5.

So it is still possible the charges might be dropped or plead down?

I'm guessing there's no way in hell they pursue this against the starting QB of the No. 4 ranked team a week before a game vs No. 3 without some damn strong evidence. There have been rumors of other video that haven't been made public.
There was also the dna and shoes and the license plate of the vehicle from the original report. There are also 3 other victims involved besides just Lowery. I wonder if all the facts will be released now.

Do you think they have a pretty solid case if charges are being brought forth? Because that is not the way our lawyer sounded?

ESPN is reporting it

It took one week too long for BRPD to solve this though.
The nerve of them to want to talk to other witnesses besides Lowery and his buddies.

Sad day. Advocate reports Fisher with players at 10:15....turning themselves in at prison. They are charged with a felony. Isn't that pretty tough?

I've heard there's a video they enhanced that clearly showed JJ kicking him.

This is just absurd, the BRPD has given nothing that would lead any common person that they have evidence
since when do they have to show the public anything? there will be a court case then it will come out

they are saying on of the players ratted him out for fear of getting in trouble.
So they told the truth because in the end the only person you can really save is yourself? Or because you should probably tell the truth or else face charges of giving false information?

Snitches get moved up to starting positions.
That's all I'm saying.

this is some info i just received from a buddy in BR:
quote:
Talking with the deputies here at work and he said that warrants for arrest for the 4 players were issued this morning, which means that they’ll probably turn themselves in tonight after practice, get fingerprinted and all that. Supposedly bail has already been posted, so they’ll go free after they’re processed and the legal process will begin.

In the end, the villain won't be the guy stomping on heads. It'll be the guy that told the truth so that the team could move forward.

Miles kicked Kyle Anderson off the team for this exact same charge in April 2007.
Kyle Anderson had been in trouble twice before that incident.
