That ain't a rumor that is a FACT. 3 LSU players provided the BRPD with information which helped lead to Jefferson & John's arrest. I suspect though that two/three other LSU players will be quietly issued a misdemeanor summons for their involvement.

Sad day for LSU and college sports in general. When athletes cross the line, there must be consequences. I'm sorry for JJ and the others, that they didn't show more maturity and good judgment. I'm sorry for the LSU Nation, that we must all bear the burden of these bad actions and bad decisions. I'm sorry for the coaching staff who has worked so hard to prepare this team. All bets are off on this season as of this moment; we'll see what kind of character this LSU team has at its core. It will be hard to live this one down; just hope we are not all witnessing the birth of LS "thug" U.

I have no problem with the players going down for their actions; however, the other "victims" involved that help cause this incident better get their punishment too.

This is ridiculous the way this is playing out. At the end of the day it was a typical fight.
My guess is Jefferson will be suspended indefinitely. He will quickly get this plead down to a battery. Plead no contest get some community service.
His suspension will be lifted 1 or 2 games later.
I think minimume 3 games suspended max 5.

There is an unreleased video of fight that has not been leaked to the public which shows what happened. Lowrey is an idiot as well but some of our players went beyond a simple fist fight. Lowrey has his own issues to deal with but some of the other people injured are legitimate victims.
