And that’s WHY PM cannot pick his successor or EVEN have a say!!!!
Cannizzaro did not see eye to eye with PM, about baseball.
Let Cannizzaro’s wife deal with the personal failing...

Is Bakich really that hot a name where he’s one of the first two calls you make? He had a great season at Michigan in 2019 and I know the Big Ten is not the easiest place to build a national baseball power.
His overall record just doesn’t seem that spectacular
Taking a Big Ten school to one win away from a championship is the most impressive feat of any attainable coach's resume. Him at a program with resources is a match made in heaven.
That and he is young.

It was common knowledge he was doing a great job at State
It's common knowledge he was so obsessed with pussy he brought a pitcher in without any warmup time. The players hated him. He also is a huge douchebag and from some accounts hasn't changed his ways. There are far better options out there than Cannizaro.

His trajectory was great and his personality is infectious.
Yeah banging a chick while your wife is 9 months pregnant is fricking awesome.

If Cannizzaro was hired the fan base would be ecstatic.
Maybe some but most would not.

The issue comes in with how he left LSU,
No, the issue is that a coach with a sexual misconduct history would be coming to a school in the middle of a sexual misconduct scandal.

I sincerely hope LSU gets turned down so many times that Woodward has to look at Cannizzaro.
You are a fricking moron.
1st off Cannizaro shouldn't be on any list in regards to any kind if coaching job here and 2nd Woodward gets who he wants.

What Andy did was consensual but you think LSU would hire a poon hound right after dealing with Les being a poon hound?
Wait... that’s the perfect “LSU hire”. LSU loves doing stuff like that. Sign him up.

On February 19, 2018, Cannizaro resigned as the head coach of Mississippi State University's baseball team after it was discovered that he had an extramarital affair with a Mississippi State football staff assistant.
Whoa. He was fooling around with the line coach or DB coach???

Outside of this season, he's been garbage at UNO.
you don't understand the disadvantages UNO plays with every year
Cannizaro took a hit this season... he's gonna need to win state a few times at Holy Cross to be seriously considered for a college job anywhere good

I mean, i get it, the program was basically dead in the water in D3. But Dean has been there since 2012 and took over in 2016. He's had plenty of time.

Everyone is aware that Blake Dean is their head coach. What could be a bigger disadvantage?

and they still don't have the fanbase or funding that they need by a longshot
he has a program that should be in the SWAC competitive in the Southland

okay but you can't sit here and treat Blake Dean like he wasn't a Tiger legend... because he was

If LSU hires Canizzarro, Todd Walker, Bianco or Blake Dean I will burn this place to the ground
Add Matt Riser to that list & I’m in

Nobody is treating him like he wasn’t
On the other hand, just because he was a great player you can’t act like he’s an accomplished coach...because he isn’t.
