I get that baseball is popular at LSU. But it doesn't mean jack blank on the national radar, no matter how much you people want it to.

The only 2 sports that bring a college prestige by having success in them are football and men's basketball. Any amount of wishing it to be otherwise, or others calling me a horrible poster WILL NOT change that fact.

Your original point was that there are no baseball fans more than 15 miles off campus.

And why exactly should I give a flying frick?

I like LSU baseball. I like it more than I like LSU football.
Why does it matter to me or you what is popular and where?

That is just motherfLucking stupid. And your lying through your teeth when you say that. 500 baseball Natty's isn't worth beating Alabama in football ONCE. Even in a regular season game.

I just love the "how can I watch the LSU baseball game tonight" threads for most games. It's pure comedy. "If I stick my head out the window, hold a piece of metal to the antenna, and hop on one foot, I can pick up the LSU baseball game tonight."

Almost every football, and the overwhelming majority of men's basketball games are EASILY available on tv. No jumping through hoops, it's right fLucking there. The minor sports are mostly streamed, like baseball.

It's called hyperbole. Of course there are baseball fans more than 15 miles off of campus. There is a HELL OF A LOT more football and men's basketball fans though. The numbers don't lie. The NCAA tournament is the top cash cow for that organization. It sure as hell isn't the CWS in Omaha.

It brings LSU next to zero publicity, attention, or respect by winning in baseball.
Winning in football and men's basketball does. As much as LSU baseball fans scream at the sky and disagree, it doesn't change that fact.

You can call me stupid, but the facts are on my side. There are only 2 sports that the majority of the country cares about in college. Baseball isn't, nor will it ever be one of those.

Just because my arguing this is unpopular here doesn't make me wrong.

I’ve been keeping up our baseball program since 2011 and I went to almost every scrimmage and home game last season. Jay has injected new life into the program and this is a special group of guys that he put together this year. I will be at the upcoming scrimmages and games and look forward to reporting to you guys about how we look! The SEC is fricked

Tell Me why that matters when the area of the country I live In cares more about college baseball?

I didnt Enjoy LSU’s 6 CWS less because NYC didn’t care.

Actually, until Will Wade turned around the basketball program, there were often lots more people in the Box than at the PMac.

Tigahlovah spot on.

Louisiana baseball guy likes to have his son that couldn’t play dead, quit every other sport and focus on baseball at age 10. Travel ball, paid lessons, and swinging bats in “Fall Ball” (most laughable thing on the planet).
These people are usually recognized by their shortness and their whiteness. High riding caps and gold chains also dead giveaway.

You’re a child who is incapable of typing out the word “frick.” It’s very odd.

tigahlovah's brain...

I don't like baseball. Oh look, a thread with the word baseball in the title, I must click on it. Wait a minute, they are talking about baseball in this thread? Let me make sure everyone in this baseball thread knows how much I don't like baseball. And since I don't like baseball, everyone else in the world must not like it either, right?

You won't admit this or answer this honestly, but you know damn well you would trade EVERY WIN in the history of the MEANINGLESS LSU baseball program for a win over Alabama in the national championship game in 2012

See this is what is called an opinion. It’s yours, and that’s awesome. But you can’t speak for everyone. I personally do not fit into that category. If you told me right now I had to pick One of the three sports to watch and the rest would disappear forever I would gladly and without hesitation choose to keep college baseball. That doesn’t mean that I don’t enjoy college football, it’s just not my preference.

It wasn’t hyperbole. It was just you making a dumb shite comment, trying to prove a dumb shite point.

I live 200 miles from campus. No one is going to argue with you that football and basketball are more popular and make more money then college baseball. But you acting like no one likes college baseball and no one spends money on it, it’s just false. We get it. You’re a college football guy. Good for you.

The point is you DO NOT HAVE TO. The 2 major sports are easily available. YOU choose to stream the games for all sports.
