I listened to the press conference. That’s just a horrible representation of what he was saying. The media has no idea how to summarize football verbiage

I am HOPING he means that he threw the ball a lot vs Nicholls because Nicholls were stacking the box and he saw no point in running against a numbers disadvantage.

Yall, slowly read the quote. For the ones that are so confused, here is the part that he is getting at, worded differently.

Kelly has been a dominant mastermind of OL for decades. I choose to believe whatever he is saying over the OL issue or lack thereof.

This is exactly what Kelly said they would do during the press conference. He stated that four pass completions were actually GN calling off the run and taking a pass due to defense alignment.
