Brian Kelly Monday Press Conference….Tidbits and link inside

- LSU (5-1, 3-0) travels to Fayetteville on Saturday to face Arkansas (4-2, 2-1). The game will kickoff at 6pm CT and will be televised by ESPN.
- LSU leads the overall series 44-23-2. LSU has won seven of the last eight meetings, including the last four games played in Fayetteville...Click here for series history.
- LSU is a 3-point favorite. The over/under is 54.5 points.
- Three Tigers Receive SEC Player Of The Week Honors After The Ole Miss Win...Nussmeier, Weeks and Swinson received the honors...
- Arkansas leads the SEC in 3rd down conversions
- Kelly talked about the mistakes in the running game against Ole Miss...many are correctible...line and TE missing blocks, RB hitting wrong hole...
- Kelly mentioned that Nuss needs to run more when that is the best option
- Kelly mentioned getting TE Trey'Dez Green in more of a WR role...
- Kelly mentioned that being in the crowd after the fans rush the field makes him uneasy and can be unsettling due to all the chaos.
- Injury Report: Kelly said CJ Daniels has a really good chance of being back for Arkansas...Hilton is still day to day.
- Nuss was praised for overcoming the adversity and fighting through his struggles to lead the team to victory...
- Kelly talked about the effect of Bobby Petrino on Arkansas's offense, and how diverse it has become...said Taylen Green is fastest QB we will face.
- Kelly mentioned that DC Blake Baker showed different looks post-snap versus pre-snap that confused Dart and made him hold on to the ball longer.
Kelly praised Major Burns for trusting his coaches and it finally clicked this game for him...had his best game.

Not gonna lie, I'm loving the new lights and the wristbands were awesome. It creates such a cool effect.
I'm really hoping to find time to catch a game in person this season. I went to the A&M game last season and even though it was a good game, it was a day game and I roasted in the sun.

Either that or he’s got a Lisfranc injury. Those are notoriously slow to heal and every case is different. There’s no question some frustration by the coaches though since the LSU doctors cleared him.

This. Dart was over 65% until the last two weeks. He's very very good when he can sit in the pocket and wait for his receivers to get open. Excellent job by Baker and the entire defensive team/staff apart from a couple plays.

I've seen similar info on Hilton and his injury multiple times on TD's, but I've never seen it confirmed anywhere. How do we know the LSU MD's have cleared him? Not flaming, I'd just like to know the facts as they are.

Think about this. I mean really think about it. Why in the world would a WR of all positions, at LSU of all schools, with Garrett Nussmeir of all QBs, in LSU’s super pass happy offense of all offenses, prefer to go play somewhere else next year, when he could be playing here this year?

He could NOT sue "everyone" at LSU. I feel for the guy, and I'm not going to say I 100% wouldn't do the same. But I don't believe casting a wide net trying to catch a pay day is his only course of action.
