Neither were seeing much playing time at LSU.

CJ Willis was a multisport kid who dealt with injuries his senior year in HS and freshman year in college. So, despite playing a bunch of travel ball growing up, he was still a raw baseball player. He was part of a recruiting class with a few other raw talents that arrived at LSU and were met with the absolute worst hitting coach I've seen.

He needed a change of scenery because whatever impressions were made on the LSU staff were not going to allow him to get a fair shake. I think we learned last night that the HC isn't always the most reasonable when it comes to dealing with injuries he can't see.

Neither we’re going to ever be everyday starters at LSU so they transferred.

That simple.

Makes you wonder about the history with arm soreness.

Read the entire thread on Chris Reid and the parody PM account. Chris Makes an appearance and tells some good stories.

What does this mean?
Nevermind

I was disappointed to see Willis leave but he will do well where he has consistent playing time

Through 4 games, Willis is hitting .455 with 2 RBI and Breaux is hitting .308 with 3 RBI and 3 stolen bases.

Interesting to see Breaux has played a lot of 1st base to start the year. Willis started some at 1st and one game at 3rd.

Willis had too much power for COM’s lineup. He likes fast guys that can bunt, not gap and HR hitters.

This talking point has been debunked for like 3 years now.
