Bregman is the hardest worker, most focused player on the team. It's hurt him

Unfortunately. He's so intense about winning it's making him crack. No one wants to do more to help the team than Bregman.

He's been pressing the whole tournament.. doing things he hasn't done all season. He's been tight, swinging at bad pitches, crashing into players, and is making errors.

I know he feels terrible. Hopefully the team can rally around him and fight their way through.

Maybe, he needs to keep the ball in front of him while fielding. Field the ball in front of you, not to the side.

He had time to get in front of the ball and that was the cause of the run scoring. Its unfortunate but you have to put your body up for the sake of the team and get in front of the ball. At least if he cant get the batter out he holds the go ahead run to 3rd base. He needs more work there on thinking.

I'll pass this on. Good thought. Bet it hasn't come to him.

He should have played the short hop there. He will rebound. I'll take a 3 hit day to go with some solid d.

No his mistake was not playing the BIG hop. He consistently sits back instead of charging 1-2 steps. He is so good he always makes the play on the short hop except for tonight. Tough break on one of the best players I have ever seen at this level.

Runner interrupted his timing and rhythm on that play. He is such a natural that the screen from the runner broke his natural rhythm. It happens, but damn it sucks to watch him do it at this stage at that time. He could have gotten his body in front of it, but was wanting the put out, and not just the knock down. He's aggressive and I hope/want him to stay that way. On the other hand, Ross had his worst night of the year. He should have stopped some of Rumbelow's curve balls, and the error on the bunt was just forced.

Bull shite. The ball was hit directly to him on 2 hops. Should have been an easy play.

He's one of the best hitters around but he's very very average at shortstop. Guessing he'll move to second at the next level.
