If that is the case then why hole up to wait for a vaccine? It would be useless. You have bought some doom porn that someone was selling you.

the best thing for this team would be all 30 players positive.

Negative Ghostrider.

People who have had it can still get a positive test, but they secrete dead virus and are not contagious.

Your comment is not supported in fact.

The odds of us having a football season this year aren’t looking too good.

Because of mental midgets, not because of anything factual.

Do you think any of them might actually consider doing this? Imagine you have a big position battle coming up in fall camp, and you can’t afford to miss two weeks of that time due to a quarantine. Also, if you know you aren’t around your parents or grandparents right now, why not go ahead and get it out-of-the-way? People that age never assume anything bad will happen to them.

You ever hear of any antibody ever last that short of a period?

Yes

You would be getting multiple vaccines every year if that were the case.

No dumbass. Not all antibodies have the same duration.

People would care because it probably shows that the death rate of the virus could be extremely low. I think that will become more and more evident. We're seeing large % of college football players testing + for it. Look at UT, Clemson, and LSU. Virtually none of them had symptoms. And frankly most of them wouldn't have even know had they not be required by virtue of being on the team and them taking these precautions.

We very well could not get a legit vaccine for some time. People need to realize that we have to live with this virus for some time. Taking precautions is warranted but people need to stop be paralyzed with fear over it.

We’ve seen a huge increase in younger people popping positive for it. Back in February/March this same age group probably would have tested positive at the same clip but they were probably more likely to be asymptomatic so they would not have even know to get a test. The people getting tested were much older and displayed symptoms. Now with more test, combined with states opening up, combined with the protests more younger people are getting tested and coming back positive with many being asymptomatic.

Below is something out of Travis County (Austin). It shows a large increase in cases but not an increase in people have symptoms. It is symptom onset so it’ll be interesting to see how it follows but I really think it won’t jet up and move much above what it was toward the middle of the chart

No we dont you idiot.

We get medical treatment, and make sure the flu doesnt stay in our lungs and cause pneumonia.

There are false positives. 3 of my staff have had one positive test in 3 months followed by a negative the very next day and then nothing but negatives before and after. You don't get COVID for one day.

Agree with your post. So things started spiking in June in Austin. Wonder what could have triggered that? Did they go ahead and have SXSW in June? Some other mass spreader events?

The key point “no hospitalization or serious illness”
How this shite has taken over as a global over reaction is nuts

Not responding directly to you but for all of the herd immunity crowd, we had a nurse become symptomatic with severe uncontrolled coughing fitsal and 102-104 fever for 4 days test positive multiple times. She was quarantined for 3 weeks total and took two serology tests during and after recovery and showed no antibodies for Sars-COV-2.

I know, anecdotal evidence but she had to quit being a nurse because of it.
