This right here illustrates the problem we have in this country. Over 600k die every year of cancer. Ditto for heart disease. The vast majority of Covid deaths were people who were already at the end of their lives for reasons wholly unrelated to Covid. Over 50% were nursing home residents. What is the average age? 80+?

My actual position is unless they are in a bubble I don't think we are having football. And I was responding to someone saying it's good to get this now and get it over and that we don't actually know if that's how this works.

Yes. That is a logical thought. Unfortunately very little logic and rational thinking has been applied to the whole ridiculous episode. There is a very vocal portion of this country, led by the media, who wants this doom and gloom, everyone shelter in place attitude to extend for a long time.
Give it a month or so when it becomes apparent football will be going forward. Like clockwork, you’ll see the doom and gloom media/social media faction coming out in full force screaming that football shouldn’t be played

This is 30 asymptomatic people.
My 94 year old grandfather needs to quarantine, not world class 20 year old athletes.
It’s not a hoax it’s a real thing I just think it is severely overblown at this point. The media is keeping it going because one it drives clicks and two if they can keep the economy struggling until November they could possibly get rid of Trump.
The sheep mentality of America is showing itself fully during this whole ordeal.

No they aren’t. Worldwide could count on one hand people who have had disease more than once (not talking about a residual positive test....that isn’t having the disease again).
