He will be top 4 in the batting order next year. What a fantastic game!

Jobert was awesome tonight

He was, but so were several others.
Pearson got the first hit, scored the first run and made a couple of critical catches.
Cooper made some key pitches and a timely catch.
It was a great team victory.

All year long even with all the scary looking batters from a pitchers perspective that we have that Jobert is the scariest looking batter up there especially considering how hard he can hit the ball.

Jobert and his upside in the bottom third of the lineup is a thing of beauty. Just when pitchers think they can relax a bit he takes you 450’ to right.

100% happy to see him peak at this moment. It’s been nice to see different parts of the lineup step up when the team needs them. Guys like Tre, Pearson, Beloso, etc. This really looks like a team that’s playing for each other. Now just need Travinski to become his not so old self again.

Any time I've seen posters shitting on Jobert I've defended him. He's a damn good player, has been all year. Posters that jump on him for a slump or a bad game have never played baseball. Its a matter of when, not if, you are going to frick up. Jobert has played his arse off. We're winning the national championship. I don't give a shite who we play. Wake ain't shite. I watched their game today. We're gonna beat their arse like a red headed stepchild.

JOBERT THE ASSASSIN

Jobert: I don't interest myself in "why". I think more often in terms of "when", sometimes "where"; always "how much." I suspect he was about to become an embarrassment. As you are.
Condor: So you're not finished.
Jobert: Pardon? Oh, no. I have no arrangement with the Company concerning you. They didn't know you'd be here. I knew you'd be here…

Jobert: Can I drop you?
Condor: I'd like to go back to New York.
Jobert: You have not much future there. It will happen this way. You may be walking. Maybe the first sunny day of the spring. And a car will slow beside you, and a door will open, and someone you know, maybe even trust, will get out of the car. And he will smile, a becoming smile. But he will leave open the door of the car and offer to give you a lift…

Jobert: Yes. Well, the fact is, what I do is not a bad occupation. Someone is always willing to pay.
Condor: I would find it… tiring.
Jobert: Oh, no — it's quite restful. It's… almost peaceful. No need to believe in either side, or any side. There is no cause. There's only yourself. The belief is in your own precision…
Condor: …Is it any trouble to drop me at the Union Station?
Jobert: Oh, no. It would be my pleasure. [pauses, then holds out a gun to Condor] For that day.
