So this seems to be the hit in question where the injury may have started?

Just what we needed... Something to blind the fans to think that his injury was the root of the offense problems

Than explain it because all your type have screamed was the inability to groom a QB for the last six months/

Explain away, bud.

Wonder if this was a cause for his weaker play down the stretch
Doesn't explain the coach playing someone who was physically incapable of not sucking.

You do not get a sports hernia from just being hit in football. A sudden change in movement or twisting action causes the injury. He must of got the injury from being twisted when he hit the ground.

Yep, posted on the other thread too that his movements and body language progressively changed in the time between taking that hit and the end of the half. He was poor in the second half after looking pretty good in the 2nd quarter

Who was the poster that said something like this was going to come out after the bowl game?

Eta: I see lsugrad already brought it up.

Somebody on here called this a couple of weeks ago. They said Harris would have an operation for a nagging injury that he suffered late in the season.

I think they implied it was Harris but did not actually say it would be Harris.

A burning question: How is a "sports hernia" different from a regular hernia?

No the poster specifically said Harris would have surgery.

I mean did you watch Jennings in 2014? Stats wise, JJ was actually better than him.

Harris' stats were barely better than Jennings. Don't go by stats, go by what you see on the field.

The writing was on the wall last season when Harris started sooner than any LSU qb in over 20 years. Yet we heard time and time again Harris would never play.

wtf are you talking about? He played in his very first game in uniform. I agree with your second thought though.

Just to the general topic, every single player is playing hurt at the end of the season.

I hope he enjoys sucking at a SWAC or MEAC school. Those are the only ones who are going to take him.

We didn't have to do this

Not that it matters, but check out the link by lsugrad. The poster was "skin" and though he did quote a post about Harris, he did not say Harris, he said a leader on offense.

Unless you are referring to a different post. Either way, again it doesn't matter.

News will come out in the coming weeks that a leader on this offense will have had a pre-bowl scheduled, immediate post game surgery to repair a nagging season injury. Not making excuses for this individual, but I'll let everyone else put the pieces of the said offensive digression puzzle together.

Sports hernia is on the groin caused by sudden change in motion or twisting.

Regular hernia is usually in the abdomen, right? Caused by over exertion?
