The backups being in, without question, facilitated the comeback to that point. And in case it escaped you, we didn't score on that last drive.

In case it escapes you, Harris was in for 3 drives, 2 of which MSU absolutely had their best guys out there, he moved the ball as best as anyone could all 3 times as well.

Let them alternate qtrs against NM St and see who has a better command of the O. Then let the better QB start against Florida.

I think what people fail to realize is that Harris is a much better runner than Jennings and able to get out of the pocket and make plays. He should start on Saturday and be given a chance. Nothing to loose this season. Groom for the future.

Getting run over by the division doormat is probably pretty demoralizing too.

Listen, the defense is not elite. I was fooled, too. The front seven are actually pretty bad, to be honest. Below average at best. Rationalize it all you wish.

Anyone who thought the defense was elite after 2 cupcakes were idiots, but the fact remains the offense did JACK shite last night until 12:47 left in the 4th quarter.

You're not going to win ANY SEC games when you cant punch it in the damn endzone until the 4th quarter. Harris gives us a much better chance than Jennings does to put those points up and Cameron needs FULL CONTROL of the offense so we stop wasting possessions like we started out last night.

Yes, Welter is horrible, he can be taken out of position with a wink and a nod from the QB. still don't know why Lesticles uses the guy. Last year against Ole Miss, Miles replaced him for a series or two with Lamar Louis and the result was Ole Miss would punt, Les puts Welter back in and the result is that Ole Miss goes down the field.

I said as much yesterday. It's time to hand it over to talent.

2013
John O Korn
Jared Goff
Christian Hackenburg
Baker Mayfield

2014
Brad Kaaya
Deshaun Watson (we'll see how Clemson plays it)

We need to go to the true freshman.

Some of those guys in 2013 had to play out of necessity as freshmen. We still have to actually hope the staff makes the change.

I'm on board with Harris. He'll make some freshman mistakes, but this was never supposed to be THE year anyway. The end of the MSU game showed me that he's ready.

I wish I could find all the quotes about Jennings being the future after one pass against a shitty Arky d. "OMG, he looked off the safety!"

The coaches made a good decision in starting Anthony to begin the season. He was the most ready for the first game. We will need BOTH of these young quarterbacks to win these next few years. They are both very valuable to their team. Let us not forget that as of now we only have two quarterbacks on scholarship. We need to support Anthony, as the entire team shares blame in the loss. Brandon DID make some big time throws, the deep throw to Trey over the middle, and some pretty deep balls to Malachi in the end zone!

I think we've seen enough of Les to know that without a season ending injury for Jennings, Harris will ride the pine until we are in a blowout situation in the 4th quarter. Maybe 2nd half of the 3rd quarter the way things are looking.
