Except Brad Edwards will very likely this time next year state LSU will lose three games in Sept or Oct. I'm sure he's a good fellow, but his glasses are too Crimson. Needs to discredit LSU to stay popular with his minions.

Dude...you're the one talking about Bama, not Brad Edwards. Sounds like you have Bama envy.

Sounds like pretty solid logic from Mr. Edwards.

The more people say Miles will win 7-8 games, the more he gets to 10 or better....

But whatever. Edwards gets paid to give his opinion. Good for him.

So it comes down to QB management during the game and avoiding costly turnovers. The schedule has 5 tough games with only 2 in Tiger Stadium with 3 others that you need to come to play. There are easily 2 losses in there and based on experience you can figure a third like ole miss last year where we fall apart.

Jefferson threw for nearly 2200 yards 17 TDs 7 ints, ran for 170 yards and another TD, as a true sophomore. That was with a horrendously horrific OL and a running game that Jeremy Hill out ran by himself in 10 games and 3 quarters last year. I think Jennings and Harris have the talent, coaching, and WR talent to do AT LEAST that.

That is why I am sticking heavy to my 10-2 prediction.

I'd disagree, but it's not like he's being unreasonable.

Why does LSU have the 5th best odds of winning the national championship at the Veneitian in Las Vegas if everyone thinks this is a rebuilding year?

How much did Edwards harp on Bama having no experience at QB and lots of new faces on the Oline? I'm sure it was no big deal.

less not forget inexperience in the secondary, mediocre defensive line, and overrated LB corps. These people think because 09 and 11 (when they had new starters at QB) they won a championship, that they'll do it again. Well they were freaking LOADED on both sides of the line, and those defenses were stacked with really good experienced players.

LSU has too much talent on both sides of the ball to lose two or three in sept. LSU is going to be in the hunt for a NC.

i'd love to be wrong...

lol, no you wouldn't.

Consider the fact that we are 7-2 against Auburn since Miles has been here and 6 of the last 7.

Consider the fact that we are 5-4 against Bama in regular season play since Miles has been here (3-4 against Saban reg season).

Consider the fact that we are 5-4 against UF since Miles has been here

You know what those teams have in common? They have won 6 of the last 8 national championships. They have appeared in 7 of the last 8 national championships. They are all on our schedule every single year, and Miles has a winning record against all of them. He also has an undefeated record against South Carolina, TAMU, MSU, and Vandy.

I could go on and on, but no team in the SEC has a winning record against Miles except for UGA. Actually except for UGA, Miles has a winning record against every other team in the SEC in regular season play.

Every last one of these idiots says

"I'd love to be wrong"
"Gut feeling"
"Hope this doesn't happen"

All kinds of shite. Every one of them hopes it happens so they can raise hell and finally get rid of miles like they've always wanted.

We are going undefeated.

And I'm one of the biggest nega miles haters around.

Get ready folks, opening game against Wisky...it's gonna look like that VT game.

Then watch all the talking heads jibber jabber some more bullshite. It's what they're paid to do.

Cptbengal, I'm with you. Edwards and the others are all saying what they are all saying because none of them do any of their own actual analysis.
State, ole miss and bama are at home and we have a grudge factor with two of them. We win them all.
Wisky will be tough until we adjust to their inside running game. With 2 excellent corners and solid safeties we will slow their run and stop their pass.
Auburn followed by Florida is the killer. We beat aubie and lose to fl in a bore bowl. 11-1, beat ga and head to the playoffs.
We can win the 'ship.....that is all. Dismissed!

I think only the most homerish of homers could not see that there could be losses in that slate of games.

I can't see how a loss is possible - this year or next.

The best Total O stretch of the '11 season was between the W at Bama and SECCG.
2011 O is also #2 or 3 all time for offensive TDs in LSU history. The 2011 D and ST scored one more TD than 2003 team, but '11 had @50pts > '03.
Look it all up.

I'd fap to seeing 2014 make Ds quit the 4th like '11 did.
