Strange how the bats have gotten cold this postseason. Same thing kind of happened in 13'. Need another good inning from Lange.

eh, most scouts have kind of quieted down on that front. the strides he's made since his freshman year have erased most people's doubts he can't play shortstop. the fact that he's been projected as a top 5 pick the last couple weeks should tell you something. second basemen are rarely ever drafted that high


Keith Law has him shifting to second as of this week. If he's drafted that high, it's because his bat is that legit. Rickie Weeks was drafted No. 1 overall as a 2B and played that most of his big-league career. Middle infielders that can rake get drafted high, whether it's second or short. Dustin Ackley went No. 2 a few years ago as a 2B. It happens.

And in Bregman's case, if he goes to the Astros at No. 2 or 5, he'll be at second cause he's not gonna move Carlos Correa off short. Correa will be up before September and will be at short in Houston for a few years after that.
