I enjoy how we spend months being dumbfounded by the committee's decisions...

And when May rolls around we become 1000% convinced of the considered criteria...

Then, they make their decisions and we go running in circles baffled over the selections.

Irvine to Fullerton and Corvallis to Eugene are both closer drives than Baton Rouge to Lafayette.

Cal State Fullerton and UC-Irvine both were National Seeds in 2009.

Oregon and Oregon State were both National Seeds last year.

I'm still shell shocked from 2011 being top 25 rpi team and not even getting in. LSU still has a hole somewhere in The Box from the NCAA's cock going in dry.

We're actually tied with rice now at .5900..... .0013 from hopping both them and Texas

A Texas loss tonight should have us sitting at #8 going into Sundays game

Of course Texas really doesn't matter...rice certainly does. But it's all about making the resume (RPI here) look better

Idk if Oklahoma State has the pitching to beat Texas.

Texas just loaded up the bases in the first. No outs.

Double play. Runners at 2nd and 3rd. 2 outs.

Ground out. Maybe I was wrong lol.

Saw that. With Rice playing tonight it's not even worth updating the thread title. If they win we'll be back to 10.

If we beat UF, even if Rice wins, would we jump them again?

Yes, but they would have a game tomorrow too.

Not sure how their two wins vs our one win vs #2 Florida would compare.

If they beat OD tonight, they'll pass us but just barely....it's soooo tight, it's really negligible. Any way you slice it, LSU is Re-hopping them Sunday even with another rice win on Sunday.

Regardless of where our RPI ends up there is no way on Earth there are 8 teams better than LSU right now.

Right now? Hell no.

We are playing better baseball right now than any team has played all season.

I think we get a Super with a win Sunday, no matter what else happens anywhere , no matter what the RPI's are. We are LSU and with a win, no one in the country will have played as well as us for the last month.

Some one told me that UL doesnt have enough Lights and a big enough press box to host a regional. Anyone know any info about this?

Maybe not a sr? I remember the lights thing because other schools were required to bring in additional Lighting. Has to be bright enough for tv coverage.
