The Gator Bowl is so, so much worse than the Outback. As bad as Tampa is, Jacksonville is ten times worse.

If you're talking about Jason Kirk's projections I wouldn't trust him one bit. He had Texas State going to bowls for weeks as an at-large when they barely get 10k to their home games. No one was going to pick them. Ever. Especially not the Poinsettia Bowl all the way in San Diego like he had them projected for two weeks.

Minnesota in the gator bowl would be a damn travesty.
Iowa in the Outback is way better and still sucks a-hole.
Who is cotton taking? This is bullshite we are ranked top 12/13 and beat some damn quality opponents including Auburn into the ground.

i care more about the matchup than the actual bowl it's in. Nebraska or Michigan in the gator would be much better to me than iowa or Minnesota. Although like I said i don't really care as long as it's not chicken bowl or Wisky since we get them first game next year

Another reason SB Nation is full of crap. Hearing from multiple sources in Tucson media that it's all but signed on the dotted line that Arizona will take on BC in the Independence.
Carey vs. Williams. Not a terrible matchup for that toilet bowl. Tough to admit Arizona's bowl (as a UofA fan) is a toilet bowl but I'm used to it.

thankfully that ends this year.
Plus even with the attractiveness of a Johnny Football bowl game I don't understand why the outback would want a team who just lost two straight games over a team who won their last game and has one less loss.
