62*.

Of the 62, the breakdown of the P5 conferences (would have the best facilities and resources to attract the best athletes) is as follows:

ACC - 0
B1G - 9
Big 12 - 3
PAC 12 - 8
SEC - 8

Apparently, NC State, North Carolina, Pitt and several other schools don't have gymnastics programs...good to know. :rotflmao:

A lot of power 5 schools compete in different conferences in gymnastics. You posting this under-researched and uninformed stat about the conference breakdown shows how little you know about NCAA gymnastics so please don't try and talk down about the accomplishments of this team unless you actually know what you are talking about.

I'll take ignorance about the inter-workings of the sport if someone wants to become a fan and learn more. You seem set on just belittling this team though so my patience is at zero.
Couldn't agree more with this.

This meet will have a large impact on the LSU gymnastics season and their post-season seeding outlook. Baseball can live with a smaller crowd tonight. Life will go on.
So to summarize this thread:

1. Chavis threw the game vs ND because he was leaving but Stoops wasn't thinking he was leaving as well when preparing for Clemson...
2. Stoops hasn't been successful since 2003 (I guess reviving Arizona into a perennial bowl team and getting them one game away from the Rose Bowl with B talent isn't success)
3. Stoops helped lead a healthy OU team to a win vs. Alabama last year but let's just ignore that.

Eh I'm willing to let some tech issues slide today. Too excited. More annoyed by my WatchESPN video quality fluctuating.

Worked an All-Star game with him. He was ejected for stomping on a Canadian players head. Glad to see he matured from February.

Good God if that's true this kid has major issues. Needs to get his crap together. Hope this does it and he's OK but man...
Would LOVE Nola here. Go Cubs! :geauxtigers:
So Aiken has a 95 mph fastball and looks like an Abercrombie model...

Some guys have all the luck.

Don't see the Cubs passing him up if he's there at 4. Cubs need pitching in the worst way.

Haven't seen anyone say they are going to take him though. Some have mentioned the possibility only as an extreme darkhorse decision.

question can I watch the draft even if I don't have MLB network on my TV?

You can watch it on mlb.com too.

Doesn't matter because he's coming back...

I'm hoping he goes to the Cubs (less likely) or the Blue Jays again at 11 (a little more likely). At least the SI mock draft had him going to the Jays but I doubt he lasts that long.
So proud of the team! They fought to the very end and that's all you could ask for. Getting those two runs in the top of the 5th in the final game made me beam with pride. Weren't going to go down without a fight! :geauxtigers:
Did no one who just posted watch any of the game or look at any stats? The girl who pitched yesterday (Selman) gave up 5 runs in less than two innings today. Why go back to her after Corbello when she clearly didn't have it either? That would be silly.

Also, for what it's worth, Jaquish our catcher just favorited my tweets about people rooting for ULL next week being stupid as hell and that we should be rooting for Arizona.

If the LSU girls themselves feel that way, that's how it should be. No reason to be pissed about anything AZ did if the LSU girls don't give a shite.

:violin:
I don't need to defend Arizona. They are a great program whether you like it or not. Proud of my LSU tigers for giving them a great fight. Time to watch ASU go down and enjoy this wonderful night for my family's other school.

Chant the opponent's name after a victory? Every sport I've played an coached...you give a "Wildcats on 3" in that situation...

Always has been that way in my life in regard to saying the opponent's name. Almost a team "good job" thing.

frick those cunts. Geaux Cajuns

So classy. Right. :violin:

I'm fine...but why do they do it? Makes no sense...

I guess it's just a thing to get the girls prepared for the handshake line. Used to do it in little league too. Exact same thing.

I admit I have not watched Zona play all season but the tricks they pulled yesterday, the spitting on the dirt like a bunch of redneck inbread women, and then having more props in the dugout than carrot top, I would say they are far from classy

I've watched them play in person since I was four. Family had season tickets for a few years as well. I think I know the Cats pretty damn well.

The props are silly. LSU has had props for years. The dirt thing was bad. Won't lie but everything else was not that big of a deal. So Wilson MAYBE tripped one of our girls. We blew her up today. It's even and over with.

Give me a break. The shite they say about LSU softball is way worse than spitting on LSU drawn in dirt. :violin:
