Boutte basically calling out Peetz

Kayshon Boutte on how LSU can start faster? "Better calls at the beginning of the games and play faster."
It did look like he was frustrated and shaking his head multiple times after getting the play from the sideline throughout the game.

Feed him. He's all we have.

Not at all wrong. Peetz’ calls have no flow at all.

Some of the players get it…

LSU needs to force the ball to Boutte. He should have 10+ targets every game.

It's also Max. He chews up playclock over and over.

That's bad.
When your star WR isn't getting the ball when you're playing a team you can try new things on, and that WR gets frustrated with the guy who's calling the plays, that's bad.
That's when you get resentment and friction between the players and the coaching staff. You already have it with the head coach, now it's starting, to be fair it could've started last week and is now snowballing, with the OC.
O is on the verge of losing this team. He's lost some of it already.

That's on peetz getting the call in.
They need to start running more hurry up and not so much check with me.

I'm talking after the play is in. He surveys the defense for an eternity

He's also dropped about 4 passes in two games. As fun as he can be to watch, it's critical that he be reliable to catch the ball more consistently than that, when the competition stiffens dramatically in a couple of weeks.
And that goes for everyone else. The drops are out of control. I'm just particularly surprised to see it from Boutte.

Getting the play call in is infuriating. Almost every time the play clock gets down to 2.
It didn't happen as frequently as it did last week but it still happened.

No shite.
That was rediculous. And it affected them all. Getting those calls in like clockwork matters.
I despised it during Les' tenure. I despise it even more seeing it back again.
The bad thing is it is probably indicative of them "simplifying" the offense for "inexperience". Well, guess what- when you do that in this style offense you remove the critical reads that the whole damn offense, QB-WRs-OL-RB, function on and basically dumb it down to Cam's offense minus keeping everybody in to block. Welp, you no longer have a "Brady Offense" when you do that. It's stupid.

Was I incorrect in my statement? Or do you just not want to hear it if it isn't sunshine being pumped up your butt?

Well, the OC has no clue how to develop a game plan or call plays. So there's that.

At one point Gordy Rush said Peetz was getting the play call in with three seconds on the play clock.
