Not sure I believe those locations. According to that he threw 23 straight strikes? That doesn’t seem likely. Also they have the exact pinpoint location, but don’t even include the velocity?

The inside square is the strike zone right? The outside squares are simply indicative of how they missed

Do people know what they’re looking at? According to that only Hawke balls were wrong, the middle square is the strike zone, not the entire box

negative

the whole box is the strike zone

it's just broken down into a 3x3 grid to see where the pitcher is hitting when he's in the zone... is he leaving meatballs or hitting corners

I think umps usually do a pretty good job, but that guy was awful.

I try not to complain about umps or officiating in general …

But HP ump had way too much impact on that very critical inning and had as much to do w that loss as Tre’s poor slide or not converting w first and third and one out or the offense’s production overall

Our guys pitched well and both teams hits were equal

Way too much impact by ump at a critical time

Floyd could have gotten out clean w better job by HP ump

Dude screwed Floyd bad. Floyd almost blew a gasket in on the bench.
Kid was dealing and this ump put him on bench. It's really terrible for the kid.

No, it shows that he struck out Hawke three times and then had a bunch of close-ish misses.

You people are absolute clowns, look at this example from the MLB, this is how most of them look, you’re telling me MLB umps are calling 4 strikes a ball in a single at bat. I just picked a random one, 90% of walks look like that on there. You really thing every single pitch that inning by Floyd was a strike?

This isn’t accurate at all… go back and watch the first batter of the sixth inning. There was not a bad call made.

I don’t know what I’m looking at, though I think people here are slightly wrong. Here’s Jobert’s at bat in the ninth. The two balls then swung at the ball in the dirt on the third pitch.

I’m more inclined to say the people saying the center is the zone are correct because there’s no way that pitch Jobert swung at was a strike.

I dont know how accurate this is, but i felt Floyd and Hurd were hitting painting the edges of the zone and rarely got the calls.

The WF pitchers rarwly were placing pitches on the edges. But when they did they got the calls.
Terrible homeplate ump.

Uhh.. no?

I think he struck out Hawke 3 times and got rattled when the ump fricked him. You could see it on his face.

Some of the later pitches were close but the first batter was egregious.

P.S.
