Technically Kiffin didn’t coach the playoffs.. I get what you’re saying but let’s stick to the facts.

It’s a fact that he got Ole Miss to the playoffs last year.

Let’s not take that accomplishment away from him by spewing false nonsense about how he’s never accomplished getting his team to the playoffs.

Nope I don’t hate the hire but I was skeptical.

You do realize LSU is out of play-off contention and it’s not even mid-October? You do understand that right?

What bowl are you so excited about playing in other than a playoff berth?

Well since the name of the game is getting into a 12 team play off these days. I’d say that money is not well spent at this point.

I thought you said let’s stick to the facts? LSU has not been eliminated from playoff contention. 10-2 and possibly even 9-3 can still get us into the playoffs.

No 9-3 team has ever been in the playoff, that’s a fact.

I can guarantee LSU is not winning out with their schedule..

They needed to survive October and then split Texas/Bama in Nov.

I’d say your extremely naive to think LSU has any chance to make a playoff especially with 2 conference losses already to not great teams…

Yes

So what do you do now? Complain all you want.

1. Kiffin isn’t going anywhere
2. There’s still plenty of opportunities for an exciting season and actually still an outside chance at the playoffs.
3. Kiffin isn’t going anywhere
4. Kiffin will have at least two more chances to make the playoffs in the next two years.

So complain. That’s fine. But you already said you don’t want to fire Kiffin, so what else do you want to do? What’s your plan or goal here? To point out that Kiffin was a bad hire? That you believe things will get worse? Ok. No worries. We’ll see. Regardless, we’re going to see at least two more years of Kiffin.

I have no problem with people complaining. You’re fine there. But I do disagree with you that things have zero chance to improve. And it’s pointless to argue about things we don’t even know yet.

None of those are facts, so shut up and kick rocks.

I can handle losing to Bama or even Texas in a few weeks and finding out that you’re not good enough to beat teams who will most likely be in the playoff.

One thing I didn’t expect was to lose to inferior schools who won’t sniff the playoffs this year.

I’m not trying to pile on Kiffin but I do think his W/L column would’ve been different with the roster he has versus the teams he’s lost to already.

Less than 14% chance now buddy and that includes running the table… I don’t think you understand what you’re saying or the situation LSU put themselves in yesterday losing to Kentucky of all schools.

You can pile on if you want. As long as you’re not suggesting firing him because that’s idiotic.

Kiffin knows the game. He knows the pressure. He knows the expectations. He can handle it. Put on the pressure.

But maybe relax and wait and see a little longer before you start labeling things. It’s early early in the process. If for nothing else, your own sanity. Kiffin is going to get plenty of opportunities to redeem himself. And that’s usually when he thrives. So maybe kick back and chill a little bit.

No that’s actually a statistic I looked up. Do you know what fact means? Have a good night.

Yep I’ll let it play out. Kentucky and Ole Miss losses will not be impressive in the end if we were to somehow win out. Hoping for the best though.

It’s not a cold hard fact. It’s ESPN’s opinion of how likely it is that LSU will make the playoffs. Nothing factual about it. It’s just an educated guess.

Yea because a statistic takes into account a lot of other variables to spit out a percentage like the other teams that won/loss yesterday. Let me know when you buy your LSU playoff ticket this year, hope you have fun.

Because who the f**k is going to spend damn near 60mil to get rid of a coach to then talk about getting rid of another. Yes this is different football, but you also have to give someone a chance to build the damn thing. It's different if he was at Ohio St or Miami with coaches who have been there for years and have built the foundation for what they want. You got a guy coming in that's trying to do that. You gotta give people a chance to do it. If you have a business and gave up on everyone who don't meet your earliest expectations out the gate, you will be broke and won't have a business. The damn man told you DAY ONE that it's a process and will take time, but some of you idiots immediately ran with unrealistic expectations on your own and when the team didn't (doesn't) meet them, you shite on him. How about it's your own damn fault for going there? Everyone isn't replacing a full roster every year. Many of them are retaining their main guys, and allowing who they want to leave to go while supplementing through the portal and high school recruiting.

No we aren’t. Now, I don’t think we’re going to be in the playoffs but if we go unbeaten the rest of the way, we’re going to be in the playoffs.

Wtf are you guys smoking? This was a bad loss and a game he should have won, but this is the most pathetic I have seen this board maybe ever. Nobody is evaluating anything in regards to the overall performance of Lane Kiffin. It’s going to be at least two full seasons before anyone is actually evaluating performance. Unless the wheels come completely off and he gets blown out by everyone. Some of you need to take your antidepressants and maybe go watch something else for awhile. Because Kiffin is going to be on that sideline for a long time. And unless you’re just miserable and didn’t want the hire to begin with, you’re going to be surprised and excited when things start to improve. So strap in.

Hallelujah

Buddy, great post. This place is full of juvenile crybabies who go 16-0 on their Xbox every single time because they play on freshman difficulty. It’s absolutely insane how people are acting right now.

People act like Kiffin showed up here as this finished product who doesn’t have any more room to grow and learn. FFS this place is embarrassing

It’s like the retards on here think a bunch of millionaires act on emotional whims. LK wouldn’t have come here if he didn’t have confidence in the admin’s plan for years to come
