“Can y’all just calm down”
========
I think fans are reacting exactly as they should.
With NIL and the transfer rules, fans have a right to expect results quickly.
Kiffin’s is paid enormous money for a guy that never beat a top ten team.
LSU has given him massive sums of money to use the portal and build a team to win now
The reaction to the 2 losses is reasonable

Exactly my point. Why is Kentucky only 1 loss? Aren’t they fielding a first year head coach and team as well?
I’m all for sticking up for Kiffin if it’s warranted but I just don’t think nor expected to be 2 losses in early October when we haven’t even touched the toughest part of our schedule yet. I also won’t be surprised if we drop Bama/Tex/Tenn. with how they played Sat. night.

Technically Kiffin didn’t coach the playoffs
This right here tells me all I need to know about what the point of your posts is.

I get what you’re saying but let’s stick to the facts.
Well, if we want to split hairs, technically, he did coach in the playoffs as an OC at Bama, including winning a National Championship. If you want to use technicalities, you need to be more specific.

Isn’t this the one game they elected to all travel to this year? Wonder what their thoughts were during and after the game staring at the 150 million investment go up in flames assuming no playoff berth this year.
They don’t care. They get a paid trip to bourbon and horse country.
We’re probably the only school that does a weekly introduction of their board on the field.

Well since the name of the game is getting into a 12 team play off these days. I’d say that money is not well spent at this point.
I mean sure, if the expectation was immediately becoming a playoff contender every year along the life of the contract. That wasn’t really my expectation year one though. Would be pretty wild to go from a 5 win team to a constant playoff team year 1. Time will tell if it’s a failure but 6 games in does not do it.

Yep
Pressure doesnt reduce with a loss to Kentucky. It grows and it should. We have paid enormous Amount’s for coach, players and firing Kelly.
Why’d we pay all this money?
We’re a top program. We provide all that’s needed to win. And we have strong supporters willing to buck up.
We aren’t trying to get by on a budget.
These financial backers should expect results. We fans therefore have the same expectation.
Kentucky has a first year coach, didn’t spend what we have and they beat us.
A loss to Kentucky is not acceptable
