You chime in all the time arguing Wade isn't good enough...yet never give a name who IS, with factual support to back up the claim, AND with certainty LSU could hire. For example, I'm pretty confident Danny Hurley could get LSU past the Sweet 16. However, I'm even MORE confident he wouldn't leave UConn for LSU. So I'll ask again. Who is better than Wade that also has a high likelihood of accepting the LSU job?

Plus, if the only knock on Wade at LSU is "he couldn't seem to get past the Sweet 16", then I think it's reasonable to add the context that he was only allowed by the AD to coach in one NCAA Tournament at LSU. His "sin" there was losing to No. 1 seed Michigan.

If the biggest knock on a coach is he wasn't able to be a No. 1 seed in the 2nd round of one NCAA Tournament, then I'd say that is a pretty minor "deficiency".

Anyone holding a grudge against Wade doing what every other successful program was doing is comical. If they are going to fire McMahon better to have the guy ready to replace him. Otherwise you are just rolling the dice on another mid major coach. And saying he never got past Sweet 16 as a negative is also stupid. He’s a young coach and can develop and mature just like a player. As much as I wanted McMahon to be successful, and I do think it sucks that he wasn’t able to show what they could do with a healthy Reed and DJ,this would be a hire I would be on board with if they can get him. Season ticket sales would blow up overnight.

Because the current trend of 0 and done is working so well...

He was winning at a consistent level like few have in his program's history and connected with the fans

Wade wasn't perfect but he was a damn good fit here and was building a solid program here

You aren't pulling from a blue blood here, so you're looking at wade with trying our hand on someone from the smaller conferences, which are a pretty mixed bag of success. This program cannot afford another misfire; you hire the guy that's proved he can win here and is still insanely popular with the fan base.

That said, there is so much support among out fanbase, that I think it is likely that he is our next coach.

The fans in the know don't want Wade back. The fans who have psychotic man love for Wade are the only ones who want Wade back.

The PMAC would be like a Taylor Swift concert, except it would be the male Wade fans screaming like little school girls. The Wade simps are awful.

So fans "in the know" don't like winning.

What does that even mean? Please elaborate.

This is really ironic coming from you.

You've had Johnny's cock shoved down your throat for years now.

And your boyfriend isn't even a quarter of the coach that Wade is.

SW was a disaster but MMs resume was better than Goldens at the time.Lets be truthful and honest ,the MM hire on paper was a good one at the time.Just like the BK hire was it hasn’t worked out .All of a sudden all you clowns are nostradomas acting like you knew that they wouldn’t work out.

It's difficult to maintain a contrarian schtick when logic and facts keep getting in the way. Ask Glen Guilbeau who at this point in his career is about two weeks away from writing for Myspace.com

I'm not sure how even the staunchest MM fans can even defend the dude at this point

Do they really believe even with a healthy Thomas this team is even on the bubble?

He hasn't generated any kind of buzz at all since getting here, one blah season and the rest total shite. We're only having this discussion due to our fat arse former AD giving him more years than necessary because 'LOOMING SANCTIONS!" so it's more of a financial discussion than merit based.

I actually do think that with a healthy Thomas they might be close to the tournament

I could see one making that argument if MM had shown any signs in previous seasons of being on the cusp.... but he hasn't. So, it's tough to convince me 1 player is responsible for this shite.

and if his roster is that fricking fragile after 4 years that still falls on him.
