Wade for history and possible upset with nc state nil
Cronin HATES the big ten and has been extremely vocal about the challenges of being a west coast team in the conference.
Musselman for the same reasons but you hope the reason he’s not vocal like mick is because he’s trying to keep his mouth shut until he has success at usc

It’s a poster who doesn’t follow basketball and thinks hires are made in basketball the same way. That’s not the case. Look at some of your more consistently successful coaches.
Illinois coach came from SFA
UConn’s coach from Seaton Hall
Bama’s coach from Buffalo
Floridas came from SF
You’re not hiring UGA DCs or Bama OCs. You’re not stealing coaches who are in the tourney every year at P5 schools. The two have almost zero in common.

Actually, the worst cheaters don't even win. Wade won a lot. He was just dumb about how he paid players compared to all of the big boys who had a system in place for decades.

when wade went to mcneese I was heartbroken. I bought a mcneese hoodie and started driving to mcneese games. now I have an NC st hoodie. I watched all interviews with him at mcneese and he said over and over he felt indebted to the leadership at mcneese and felt like he owed the resurrection of his career to them.
he had his contract rewritten with a 1 mill buyout paid to mecneese purely to reward mcneese for taking a chance on him.
he never shuts up about what a significant part of winning is support from the admin. now the LSU admin is his close and trusted friend.

no he wasn't he just had back luck. the stupid federal case got him. he could not have expected the NCAA to, for example, listen to his calls, because that is illegal for them to do. he happened to be caught up in a frivolous nonsense case from SDNY that is rare and very bad luck. when the feds are investigating its a lot different than the NCAA

I talked to someone today who is pretty connected and he said Wade is coming so take that for what it is worth.
