Exactly. What coach wouldn’t take that promotion. It’s the top level of football and he is one of the best. Time to play with the big dogs
LSU will always come in second place to the NFL as far as coaching or anything football related

Henderson is co-defensive coordinator at USC now, highly unlikely he would leave for a demotion. Only reason he might consider it is to come home, but he has no affiliation to LSU like Bo Davis had.

With NIL, recruiting is much less valuable now anyway.
Nothing personal against the move, but you had to overpay to get him, and now he's likely leaving for less money, which means his replacement will probably be more motivated and do a better job of actually coaching.
This is not a big deal.
Bo Davis is not going to the Saints thinking that he's going there to make a difference.

Yes, but it doesn't have to be another D-Line coach if Kelly feels that Peoples can handle it on his own. It could be a dedicated ST Coordinator.

NFL much better lifestyle for coaches. Coaches are getting tired of the NIL and transfer and year round recruiting if it wasn’t the Saints he would have taken another NFL job next year

He obviously did not like what he was doing here, whether it was the amount of effort or the kids he was working with.
That kind of thing can't help but translate into his performance.
I don't think I'm reading anything into it. This is pretty much face value given the level of compensation.
