Thank you for letting people know you don't know ball. He literally gave the most basic answer possible. If we can't run the ball against a 3 man front with a 2 high safety look then we won't be very successful. As good as Nuss has been it wouldn't be smart to throw against that defense if they stay in it.
I predict if they gave us that look the entire game we would have 50 rushes for a lot of yards and win by 2+ TD's.

“We Have to be smarter, tougher, “ etc……get in, get out of press conference. You can get away with that still with the media. Again, there are some really good caches in the past that did this just Fine with their own commentary and allowing the players to say very little.
If he is happy with the results that he’s gotten so far, then by all means keep talking.
But if he’s not happy with what he’s saying, then keep himself in the players away from cameras; say the typical coach speak that you should say and get on with the preparation.

Well, he tried to run the ball against 5 or 6 down linemen, we saw how that went, so three should be a gift.
I know one thing, a lost to South Carolina means we go 6 and 5, or worse. Think about that.

He was basically saying we'll take what the defense gives us, if they load the box, we'll throw. If they go two high with three down linemen, then we'll run.
What's wrong with that?

Nothing wrong with it unless you actually take what the defense gives you.
We didn’t take too much from USCw when it mattered.
So it’s really put up or be quiet. And we didn’t put up enough to beat an outmatched team.
