For the uneducated let me educate you. LSU going from 56 feet above sea level to 2000 ft above sea level while losing 2 hours gave USC a huge advantage. LA area is 562 fy to 5000 ft above sea level and in the same time zone.

You mean gave Nicholls a huge advantage?

LSU along with USC both experienced an approximate average 1.9% drop in VO2 Max at 2000 feet. They were subject to the same.

That was really bad by BK

Week 2 and your team is tired?

Coming off disappointing loss and they are tired?

Too tired to look good against Nichols?

Come on BK

Troy and UAB are FBS teams, Nicholls is a (bad) FCS team. The UABs and Troy's of the world would beat Nicholls by a greater margin than LSU

Would you rather him say:

Our players suck, and I think this will be a long, painful season?

We played a very competitive and physical game day late and traveled Monday, then immediately began practice Tuesday.

You realize they have been practicing basically every day for the past month or so?

Boston College played Monday night and then won 56-0 yesterday btw. Think about how tired they must have been.

The point is that display last night did not show a hungry team that was ready to make up for mistakes in the loss be USC.
I’m afraid Kelly’s personality is ok with mediocre play and personal fouls and mistakes.
Always an excuse with this guy.

I am off the BK wagon until I see a team that plays with some grit fight and swag.

The are average Joes currently and middle of the pack SEC squad at best.

Tired of the BK excuses and tired of hearing people say he was handed a dumpster fire. This is LSU we are talking about. BK has never been a good fit nor will he ever be.

Combine that with a very good FCS team

Nicholls lost to Tulane last year 36-7
They were 7-5 with one of those wins coming because the other team forfeited

That's not a very good team

It’s a pathetic excuse and makes us look like our sc program is a joke.

Also says BK can’t do simple things like change the schedule to get his guys ready.

Being tired is a weak excuse

good lord, it's the second game of the season. And there's NCAA restrictions on the hours that players can practice.

Fatigue (at ANY point during the season) is an absurd excuse. But it's complete and utter nonsense in week 2, against an FCS opponent.

LSU should dust any FCS team regardless, but you are just talking out of your arse and don’t know shite. Nichols is a likely FCS playoff team and should win their conference. They are currently ranked. Do a little fricking research or no one will take you seriously.

ETA: Downvote away bitches. Facts are still fricking facts. Post FACTS, not bullshite you made up.

If the team was indeed tired, Kelly and the army of people employed on the training staff should have realized that fact at Tuesday's practice.

Then you stress to the team the importance of rest, nutrition and recovery.

After that, he could have made the practices shorter and lighter for the week. He's the head coach; he can change the routine for one week if he wants to in order to have his team fresh for Saturday. There were certainly ways to make sure his team wasn't "tired."

Exactly, BK should have changed the practice schedule and done what was needed for recovery.

We have a fancy weight room and rehab center, we have a team of specialized nutritionists, we have everything you could need to recover and yet BK says his team is tired.

Our SC program needs a reboot if one flight from Vegas to BR makes us tired.

Kelly acknowledged the team should not have spent the night before the game at the famous Nevada’s famous Bunny Ranch. “The boys were absolutely worn out. Multiple players had to use ice before the game as to not run bow-legged.”
